Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Jim Jordan just shook the
0:06
roof. Before we get started please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe. Those little
0:13
things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow. The House Judiciary
0:18
Chair and Representative Jim Jordan, he taught school just yesterday when Merrick Garland
0:25
appeared before the House and had his little hearing and tried to defend the honor of the
0:31
Justice Department. The same Justice Department that I think we all believe, you guys, you and
0:36
me, not the people in the mainstream media but us, that we believe has weaponized justice
0:42
so-called justice, against former President Donald Trump. Jim Jordan said to him in this statement
0:50
justice is not blind anymore and then he went on to list exactly why and it's something that I think
0:56
a lot of people are missing about what actually happened in the Trump cases and how they came to
1:00
be. Jordan explains it very plainly here and I think beautifully. So, you know, he goes into
1:08
what happened with Bragg's office, what happened with Jack Smith, what happened with Letitia James
1:12
what happened with Fannie Willis, but also, and this is important, he explains the timing of it
1:20
See, the timing is key here. The timing was to send a message and the message was sent but it was sent
1:26
to the American people. Republicans need to seize on what Jim Jordan is saying here and make this
1:32
their message because the American people, they don't like to see justice being skewed. Let's take
1:39
a look at what Jordan said. Let me know what you think in the comments
1:43
2021 but doesn't bring charges until after he announces he's running for president. Alvin Bragg
1:50
said, quote, I could not see a world in which I would indict Trump and call Mr. Cohen as a
1:56
prosecution witness but that's exactly what he did after President Trump announced he was running
2:03
for president and the Attorney General names Jack Smith special counsel three days after President
2:09
Trump announces he's running for president. Four months earlier, before Jack Smith is named as
2:15
special counsel, the Biden Justice Department under Attorney General Garland approved a raid
2:20
on President Trump's home, something we've never witnessed in this great country. This action broke
2:26
every norm in our justice system. Don't take my word for it. Former Assistant Director in charge
2:32
of the Washington Field Office of the FBI, Stephen D'Antuono, said this in his deposition to our
2:36
committee. Four standard processes were not followed. The Washington Field Office ran that
2:42
raid, not the Miami Field Office. The operation was run out of headquarters, excuse me, not from an
2:48
assigned U.S. Attorney's Office, as is customary. The FBI didn't seek consent before doing the raid
2:54
and the FBI refused to wait for President Trump's attorneys to be present before the search was
3:00
conducted. And there's Jay Bratt. Mr. Bratt's on the special counsel team. He met with Biden
3:07
White House officials multiple times, including just weeks before Jack Smith indicts former
3:12
President Trump. But what's most troubling is what Mr. Bratt did to Stanley Woodward
3:17
Mr. Woodward represents one of the defendants in the documents case. He was summoned by Mr. Bratt
3:23
to department headquarters. At the meeting, Mr. Bratt informed Stanley Woodward, if your guy flips
3:31
your client changes, it could help your chances for that judgeship you are interested in
