Ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and if you are a conservative
0:05
or a Christian, or a Christian conservative, it's been a great time to be watching the
0:10
Supreme Court. If, however, you're President Biden, not such a great time
0:15
And now a speech from Nancy Pelosi just gave him a double smack in the face
0:20
Before we get started, folks, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe
0:25
Those things really do help our channel out and help us continue to grow, and we do so
0:29
appreciate them. Nancy Pelosi. Nancy Pelosi. She was the one who was going to haunt Biden's dreams, or nightmares as it were
0:41
See, Nancy Pelosi, about two years ago, give or take, she gave a little speech, and this
0:49
speech was cited by the Supreme Court today in their decision to bury Joe Biden's student
0:56
loan program. Now I could tell you about the speech, or I could show you the speech
1:01
I'd rather show you the speech, because, well, that tells the story better than I can
1:05
Let's take a look. People think that the President of the United States, is this more on the subject than you
1:11
ever want to know, or you'll let me know? People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness
1:19
He does not. He can postpone, he can delay, but he does not have that power
1:26
That has to be an act of Congress. You see, even Nancy Pelosi knew that the President didn't have the power to do this
1:34
The President of the United States cannot decide things by fiat. What does that mean
1:39
It means that he's not a dictator. He cannot just decree something and that it is so
1:44
That's not how it works in the United States. As they say, we must protect our democracy
1:49
Well, this is part of democracy. There's checks and there's balances. There's a legislative branch that creates the laws
1:56
And so, as Pelosi was correctly stating, it is the job of Congress to create and craft
2:04
a law, in this case, to eliminate student loan debt. That law would then go, or that bill would then go to the President's desk for his signature
2:13
where he would sign it or not sign it. If he signs it, it becomes a law. In fact, if you just watched a Schoolhouse Rock video, I'm a bill on Capitol Hill, that
2:22
would have taught Biden all about this and he wouldn't have had to go through all this with the Supreme Court
2:26
It would have taught him right there. Schoolhouse Rock, educating politicians since the 1970s
2:32
Folks, the problem here is that Biden, in my opinion, he's not a stupid man
2:39
He may be a senile man, I don't know, but he's not a stupid man
2:43
He knew this was never going to pass the Supreme Court. He knew it
2:46
He knew it when he decided on it. He got a lot of people's hopes up, got them excited, and now they're going to be looking
2:52
for somebody to blame. And that's when Biden turns around and says, see, it's those dastardly Republicans
2:59
But if you elect more Democrats to Congress and elect me again as President, we're going
3:04
to get this law passed and we're going to blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
3:08
You know the whole rest. This, I think, from day one, from day one, this was a campaign issue for him, not an
3:15
actual issue about something he was actually going to solve, because he doesn't actually
3:20
solve anything, does he? This was always going to be a campaign issue
3:24
That's my fervent belief, and I'm waiting for somebody to prove me incorrect
3:28
Folks, I want to thank you for joining me here today at Explain America. Again, I'm Carmine Sabia
3:33
Please remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe. We love you guys. God bless you
3:38
Take care, everybody. Bye.
