Hasn't Happened In 40 Years - Kamala Harris Makes Decision That Could Ruin Her

questions, sit down interviews except for the one she did, and press conferences

And now, now she's going to avoid the Al Smith dinner. This is a dinner that countless presidential candidates have gone to

In fact, the last time somebody didn't go to this dinner was Walter Mondale, and he

lost 49 states. I'm not saying that's what's going to happen here, but it just shows that this is a dinner

where they talk back and forth and they trade barbs and whatnot, and I don't think she can

do that off the cuff, and that's the issue for her, right

So now, even Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York City is mocking her for not going to

this dinner, and we're all wondering what is she so frightened of? She says it's a scheduling issue, but I mean, who has a busier schedule than former President

Donald Trump, and he manages to do all these things. So I don't know

We're disappointed. We were looking forward to giving the vice president an enthusiastic welcome, and we

were confident that she would find this. She speaks very much about the high ideals and how it's good to get away from division

and come together in unity and all. That's what the Al Smith dinner is all about

We haven't given up yet. We're not used to this. We don't know how to handle it. This hasn't happened in 40 years since Walter Mondale turned down the invitation, and remember

he lost 49 out of 50 states. I don't want to say there's a direct connection there, but so we're not used to this, and

we're not giving up. You know who's been a help to us, Lauren, is Senator Schumer and Governor Hochul

They both are working hard to see that they convince her to come

So there's still a chance. Yeah, Senator Schumer said to me, he said, I don't think she made the decision

I think her schedulers are saying she can't make it. So we're not giving up

We hope she's here
