0:37
hey
0:38
guys Trump is not going to be sentenced
0:41
to prison he's not even going to be
0:43
fined by judge Juan Maran judge Juan
0:46
Maran obviously understanding the
0:48
significance of the election to
0:51
president of the defendant has decided
0:54
that there will be no actual
0:56
punishment but he will sentence him and
0:58
he'll sentence him in my opinion so that
1:02
the man is called a convicted felon when
1:04
he's president but it's not over Trump
1:08
had asked for the case to be thrown out
1:10
it should have been never been brought
1:11
in my opinion and in doing so the judge
1:15
said no there was a jury verdict I'm
1:18
going to abide by the jury verdict I'm
1:19
not going to just waste the jury's time
1:22
okay understandable but Trump has a lot
1:25
of grounds for appeal and actually the
1:27
fact that he's being sentenced now opens
1:29
up the world of possibilities more for
1:32
appeal in a case that I believe is going
1:33
to get thrown out I want you to watch
1:36
this video on it though where they
1:37
explain it better than I can and let me
1:39
know what you think in the comments Trey
1:41
good evening here's an excerpt from
1:43
mha's decision quote finding no legal
1:45
imp uh impediment to sentencing and
1:47
recognizing that presidential immunity
1:49
will likely attach once defendant takes
1:51
his oath of office it is incumbent upon
1:54
this court to set this matter down for
1:56
the imposition of sentence prior to
1:58
January 20th 2025 that's Judge Maran you
2:01
were in this courtroom uh during that
2:04
trial for some part of it and you know
2:07
what what's your pro perception of this
2:09
move today and it's going to happen 10
2:11
days before the
2:13
inauguration yeah I I've been in a lot
2:15
of courtrooms I've had bad judges and
2:17
good judges but at least they were the
2:19
same for both sides this judge I've
2:21
never seen anything like it Brett I mean
2:23
the strik Zone was like the size of a
2:26
gats cotton ball for for for the defense
2:30
but it was a big strike zone for the
2:33
prosecution so I'm not I'm not surprised
2:35
that he would take one more shot here's
2:37
the Silver Lining though now that the
2:39
case will be over the the sentencing is
2:43
what ends his involvement then he can
2:46
perfect his appeal president Trump he
2:48
can appeal all the evidentiary issues he
2:51
doesn't have the Sword of Damocles
2:53
holding hanging over his head I I get
2:56
the the unfairness that I'm sure he
2:57
feels right now and it wasn't unfair
3:00
trial and you stop and think of the
3:01
issues going on in New York right now
3:03
and you're going to take time to
3:05
prosecute a bookkeeping error so I get
3:09
the unfairness but in the long run he I
3:11
think is better off having this in the
3:13
rear viw mirror than in the windshield
3:16
despite the unfairness Juan Maran
