0:35
guys new video has surfaced of Daniel
0:38
Penning in the moments in the minutes
0:42
after the Jordan Neely verdict as you
0:44
probably know if you're watching this
0:46
video Mr Penny was found not guilty of
0:50
involuntary or negligent ma uh negligent
0:52
homicide the manslaughter charges have
0:55
had were dropped earlier but he was
0:57
found not guilty of negligent homicide
0:59
and
1:01
Penny to me is a
1:03
hero I don't take any pleasure in the
1:07
fact that Mr Neely died I think it's a
1:09
tragedy he was listed as one of the most
1:12
vulnerable people one of the most
1:14
vulnerable homeless people in New York
1:16
and yet no help was given to him and I
1:19
think that's tragic it's tragic for
1:21
everybody involved here I'm sure Mr
1:24
Penny did not mean to kill this man the
1:26
prosecution didn't even allege that he
1:29
meant to kill this man
1:30
man and it was a shame that Neely was
1:33
threatening people and threatening
1:34
people's lives scaring people he
1:37
probably wasn't going to hurt anybody
1:39
but if you're Penny you don't know that
1:42
and if I'm sitting here right now I
1:43
don't know that I'm guessing but I don't
1:45
know he wasn't going to hurt
1:47
anybody it's just a tragedy and Penny I
1:52
think was unfairly and and wrongly
1:54
prosecuted here by a Manhattan
1:56
District's attorney's office led by
1:58
Alvin brg who prosecute who they want to
2:02
and let go who they want to and it's
2:05
based very much on identity politics you
2:07
can see it in the cases they choose to
2:10
prosecute and the cases they choose not
2:12
to prosecute and the da or the the
2:15
attorney in this case pretty much said
2:17
as much in an interview where she talked
2:19
about letting a a literal murderer go
2:23
without charging him cuz he had a rough
2:26
life cuz he was from a marginalized
2:28
group AB absolute
2:31
idiocy and yet
2:33
Penny because he's not from a
2:35
marginalized
2:36
group he gets
2:39
prosecuted viciously prosecuted in what
2:42
I think is a political Witch Hunt he
2:44
should sue in my estimation for what has
2:47
happened to him so you can imagine the
2:49
relief he felt today when that not
2:51
guilty verdict was read which explains
2:53
the video I'm about to show you of him
2:55
literally at a bar
2:57
celebrating after the verdict was read I
2:59
I want you to watch this video and let
3:01
me know what you think in the comments
3:04
to Daniel Penny now and you've been on
3:06
this case from the very beginning you
3:08
will have a chance to sit down with him
3:10
I'm also told we have brand new video
3:12
after the not guilty verdict of him
3:14
leaving a bar is that
3:16
correct okay here we go went out for a
3:18
drink to celebrate I guess I know the
3:20
bar wow look at that looks like Wall
3:23
Street let me tell you something this
3:24
guy Danny penny for the last year and a
3:27
half has been totally totally rigid he
3:31
hasn't done anything other than respect
3:33
the system respect the citiz the the New
3:36
York City and the everything about this
3:39
case God bless him he put it's time for
3:41
him to let loose a little bit this is a
3:43
Zen guy remember he played the in the
3:46
symphony he's 26 years old he's a kid
3:49
yeah and you think about what he has
3:51
been through yeah he's been through hell
3:53
for no reason if that prosecutor Alvin
3:56
Bragg weren't the progressive Soros
3:58
funded prosecutor this would never have
4:00
happened wow um judge we appreciate you
4:03
um thank you very much for jumping back
4:04
in the chair and we will look forward to
4:06
your Daniel Penny interview look for
