it really helps us out. Today, James Clyburn, who is a staunch Democrat
0:35
he's a guy who helped get President Biden elected, and he says that he was instrumental in getting Hunter Biden pardoned
0:43
that he actually said to President Biden that he should pardon his son
0:47
and that he really pressured to do it. Well, he's saying it's in the best interest of the country now
0:53
if President Biden were to pardon Donald Trump, and he's saying it not because he thinks Trump is innocent
0:59
or even deserves a pardon. He's saying the Supreme Court basically gave him a pardon with the immunity decision
1:06
and a pardon would just now solidify that he's never going to be prosecuted federally
1:10
Now, this has nothing to do with the state cases. Those are different. Those aren't covered by a pardon
1:16
But he makes a strong actually case here for pardoning Trump, and it kind of surprised me coming from a top Democrat like him I want you to listen to it and let me know what you think in the comments Well you know I know if you heard the former Democrat now independent Senator Joe Manchin
1:35
had a recommendation that he made. He was talking about cleaning the slate
1:39
And he suggested that President Biden should pardon President-elect Trump. What do you think of that
1:47
Well, I've said to people, that I'm in that category as well
1:53
I did see what Manchin had to say. Remember, that Trump has not been convicted of anything in the federal realm
2:05
Those convictions are state convictions. So I'm not talking about state here
2:09
I'm talking about things that could impede our federal government. And so I believe that Manchin may be on the same
2:21
something there. You would support pardoning Trump for the federal crimes? Yes, I could. Absolutely
2:28
Because the Supreme Court has pretty much made it very clear that he is preemptively pardoned
2:36
of anything he may do as president. Because of the immunity decision for official acts
2:41
Really quick, I know we have to go. There's been a lot of threats made. You know
