0:01

0:06
Joe Biden in his administration they
0:09

Joe Biden was going to have a hard time
0:37
being reelected he knew it I knew it you
0:40
knew it the Democrat Party knew it it's
0:42
why they pushed him aside and why well
0:45
one of the main reasons was his soft
0:47
stance on
0:48
immigration now he had to fix that if he
0:51
wanted to run for president and he had
0:53
to fix it if kamla Harris wanted to be
0:55
president because they had that hanging
0:57
over their heads hanging around their
0:59
neck like an anchor and it wound up
1:02
sinking them that and the economy wound
1:03
up sinking them those were the two main
1:06
issues so how do you get around that if
1:09
you're President Joe Biden and vice
1:11
president kamla Harris well you don't
1:13
have a lot of options you don't have a
1:14
lot of time to make up for the horrible
1:16
job you did on the
1:18
border but you can lie about it you can
1:20
obfuscate the truth well how do you do
1:23
that well you kind of fudge the numbers
1:25
a little bit border encounters where you
1:27
catch and release now become border
1:30
arrests and you tote that number look at
1:32
all the Border arrests we had well you
1:34
didn't really you let these people go is
1:37
that really an arrest you you took them
1:39
in you processed them and you sent them
1:41
on their way wouldn't really call that
1:43
an arrest but apparently this is what
1:44
they did over and over again to make it
1:47
look like they were actually doing
1:48
something on the border this is a
1:50
massive Scandal any other Administration
1:53
this would be a Watergate type Scandal
1:55
the media they're not going to treat it
1:57
like that I don't think but I want you
1:59
to watch this and let me know what you
2:00
think in the
2:03
comments Homeland Security officials are
2:05
accusing the Biden administration of
2:06
misleading the public on Border numbers
2:08
so by counting migrants that were
2:11
processed and released as ice arrests
2:14
that doesn't sound right Brook Taylor is
2:15
live in Dallas and she has much more hi
2:17
bro good
2:20
morning hi Dana yeah those senior
2:22
Leaders with DHS and I took time to
2:24
speak to reporters and they basically
2:27
accuse the Biden administration of what
2:29
they're calling quote cooking the books
2:31
and lying basically to the American
2:33
public about how many illegal migrants
2:36
they actually arrested I want to show
2:37
you what the acting ice director here
2:39
Todd Lions had to say about this he said
2:42
quote ice found tens of thousands of
2:44
cases that were recorded as Arrest when
2:47
in fact the illegal aliens were simply
2:49
processed and then released into
2:50
American communities the Biden
2:52
Administration reported more than a
2:54
100,000 arrests in fiscal year 2024 but
2:58
the senior leaders say the numbers are
3:00
deceiving that is because the majority
3:02
of these arrests are what's called pass
3:04
through arrests meaning they pass
3:06
through ice then were just released into
3:08
American communities pending those
3:10
immigration hearings now we've been
3:12
trying to reach out to former DHS
3:14
secretary Alejandro myor is to get his
3:16
response to these claims we have not
3:19
heard back but this is what he had to
3:20
say about illegal migrant arrest when he
3:22
was pressed during a White House
3:24
briefing back in
3:25
2023 I want to be very clear our borders
3:29
are are not open people who cross our
3:32
border unlawfully and without a legal
3:35
basis to remain will be promptly
3:38
processed and removed we removed
3:41
returned and expelled 1.4 uh million
3:44
people last year ask those 1.4 million
3:47
people if they think uh the border is
3:52
open meanwhile the senior ice officials
3:55
say arrest numbers under the Trump
3:56
Administration do not include any pass
3:58
through arrests since them ending this
4:00
catch and release policy the senior
4:02
officials say that they're fully
4:04
enforcing immigration laws unlike the
4:06
last Administration now during uh
4:08
president Trump's first 50 days in
4:10
office ice arrested
4:21
32,896 pending criminal charges the
4:25
remaining
4:26
8,718 in the United States illegally now
4:30
I have been pressing uh those ice and
4:32
DHS officials to get numbers on how many
4:34
of those illegal migrants arrested have
4:37
actually been deported we're told
4:38
they're working on getting those numbers
4:40
for us Dana okay keep us posted Brooke
4:42
thanks for their update
