out today a longtime CNN anchor I'm
0:37
sorry Sunday a longtime CNN
0:40
anchor called it quits and it was a
0:42
shock to a lot of people and that
0:45
Anchor's name is Allison camarada she
0:48
has been on that Network for more than a
0:49
decade and I think one of their better
0:52
anchors um you know she definitely
0:54
appears to me to be pretty
0:56
liberal but she's a great Newsom and you
0:59
know does a great job honestly I I'm a
1:02
CNN Watcher don't hate me I have to
1:05
watch it to do my job so don't hate on
1:07
me for it but I also think CNN has a lot
1:10
of bright spots I see a lot more of it
1:13
than most conservatives do there are a
1:16
lot of bright spots on there is it Fox
1:18
News no it's not Fox News it's not you
1:20
know but they they they try to be middle
1:23
of the road I think they fail a lot at
1:24
that and they lean really to the
1:27
Democrat side but camarado was a bright
1:30
spot there she's a hard-nosed news
1:33
reporter and this was a very emotional
1:36
announcement for her and we have to see
1:38
what she's going to do next I'd expect
1:40
more defections coming from CNN because
1:42
they recently the rumors are spreading
1:44
that they're going to cut a lot of top
1:46
talent to try to save on money because
1:49
their ratings are suffering
1:51
badly
1:53
now you know I think a lot of it has to
1:55
do with people not wanting to tune into
1:57
liberal news media but I think a lot of
1:59
it also has to do with with a changing
2:00
landscape of news people watching
2:03
getting a lot of their news online right
2:06
getting a lot of their news on different
2:07
apps like YouTube and that really cuts
2:11
into the mainstream media and they don't
2:12
longer have the strangle hold of the
2:14
narrative which is a great thing I want
2:16
you to watch this video and let me know
2:18
what you think in the
2:20
comments before we go on this very busy
2:23
news day I just want to take a moment to
2:25
share some personal news this is my last
2:28
day on air at CN
2:30
I've had such incredible opportunities
2:33
here these past 10 plus years I've
2:35
interviewed presidents and heroes and
2:38
Extraordinary People the kind of peak
2:41
career experiences that I had dreamed of
2:44
since I was a teenager the journalists
2:46
at CNN are the very best in entire news
2:50
business and it's been an honor to have
2:52
been their colleague it's also an honor
2:55
to have been in your homes this past
2:57
decade through some of the biggest
2:58
stories of our life times I'm always
3:01
touched when a viewer comes up and tells
3:02
me that I helped them get through these
3:04
challenging times so I look forward to
3:08
doing much more of that with you please
3:10

3:16
very near future and to my dear friends

3:24
about the power of Journalism and for
3:26

3:32

3:33

3:36

3:38
