0:04

out you know people sometimes and
0:39
reporters I
0:40
remember when I was a kid reporters
0:44
sometimes ask the dumbest questions the
0:47
most ridiculous questions questions you
0:49
know they can't answer I remember do you
0:52
guys remember storman Norman Schwarz may
0:54
he rest in peace the great General
0:56
Norman
0:57
schwarzkoff during the first Iraq War
1:00
he would get up to the podium he' give
1:02
an update on the war and reporters would
1:04
invariably ask him questions about where
1:07
our troops are going to strike next what
1:09
their movements were and I would sit
1:11
there with my mother I was a little kid
1:13
and we would both sit there
1:15
dumbfounded yelling at the screen like
1:17
you he can't possibly answer that
1:20
question you don't tip off the enemy
1:23
well reporters have learned nothing I
1:27
understand that you want to get that
1:28
question that goes VI viral and people
1:31
give you a pat on the back that you got
1:32
the answer but do you realize how
1:35
stupid some of your questions
1:38
sound there was a reporter today talking
1:41
to president Trump about
1:43
Iran and it was a good question if he
1:46
could answer it privately and of course
1:50
not have it leak right what he asked was
1:52
asked was would you rule out preemptive
1:55
strikes against
1:57
Iran and Trump literally laughed at this
1:59
guy and then scolded him he's like what
2:03
what kind of question is that of course
2:04
I can't tell you the answer to that
2:05
question if I say yes or no they now
2:09
know what is and is not available to us
2:12
as a nation to take aim at them this is
2:15
a country that is a terrorist supporting
2:17
regime a country that has the president
2:20
of the United States on their hit list
2:22
or the
2:23
president-elect they're an evil
2:26
regime but no the president cannot tell
2:29
you
2:30
what he is going to do or what he has
2:33
available to him that's
2:35
insane what would make you even ask that
2:37
question I pray you're watching this so
2:40
you can look yourself in the mirror and
2:42
say to yourself what the hell was I
2:44
thinking what kind of stupid ridiculous
2:47
asinine question is that well
2:51
Trump he let him have it and it was
2:54
actually beautiful I think he was he
2:55
said what all of us were thinking I want
2:58
you guys to watch this clip and let me
3:00
know what you think in the comments are
3:02
you are you entertaining the idea of
3:04
preemptive strikes against Iran's
3:06
nuclear
3:07
facilities against Iran's nuclear fa
3:09
well I can't tell you that I mean would
3:11
you I mean it's a wonderful question but
3:13
how can I am I going to do preemptive
3:16
strikes why would I say that can you
3:18
imagine if I said yes or no you'd say
3:22
that was strange that he answered that
3:24
way am I going to do preemptive strikes
3:25
on
3:27
Iran is that a serious question how
3:29
could I answer a question like that
