0:08
the directives being given to New Jersey

Mayors to tell their police forces with
0:14
these drones in case they

out Belleville New Jersey Mayor Michael
0:44
melham did an interview with Harris
0:46
fauler of Fox News where he described
0:50
what he was told by New Jersey officials
0:52
admittedly it's not much they're keeping
0:56
these Mayors the the governor himself
0:59
assemblymen and Assembly women Senators
1:02
Representatives they're keeping them in
1:03
the dark and there's a couple things
1:06
that I believe we could be dealing with
1:07
here one of them is a classified
1:10
government operation and in which case
1:12
if that's the case I believe the
1:14
government should come out and say guys
1:15
we know what it is it's a classified
1:17
operation we can't talk more about it
1:19
than that but it's totally safe let the
1:21
people know they're safe because as
1:23
melham says in this
1:26
interview you're watching these drones
1:29
go over critical itical infrastructure
1:31
power grids military
1:34
installations what is it are these
1:36
drones counter measures by us are we
1:39
protecting against something are we
1:42
practicing to protect against a
1:44
potential attack these are the things
1:46
that you know we don't know and it would
1:48
be good enough if it's the case for the
1:52
government to just say look we can't
1:53
tell you what it is but we're aware of
1:55
it and you're safe that would be good
1:57
enough and it would it would assou
1:58
people's minds
2:00
but what melham said in this interview
2:02
that really struck
2:03
me was he said that they were told as
2:06
mayors of New Jersey that if one of
2:08
these drones were to crash that you were
2:10
to deploy the bomb
2:12
squad and everybody should wear a hazmat
2:15
suit why because if it is a government
2:18
project that wouldn't be the case what's
2:21
on these ships do we not know what's on
2:24
these ships does the government really
2:25
not know because if our government
2:27
really doesn't know then I'm terrified
2:30
I'm absolutely terrified if our
2:31
government really doesn't know what's
2:32
happening here I would feel much safer
2:35
if they knew and it was okay it was just
2:38
classified I would feel much
2:40
safer listening to this interview with
2:43
melham I'm not really sure what to
2:45
believe I don't think he's sure what to
2:47
believe you know he's just a mayor like
2:50
all the other Mayors in the State trying
2:52
to do their job in a really tough
2:54
situation I give him a lot of credit for
2:56
coming out there and and and you know
2:58
taking this by the horns and trying to
3:00
protect the residents of his town and I
3:02
trust that other Mayors are doing
3:04
exactly the same thing I want you to
3:06
watch this interview and let me know
3:07
what you can glean from it in the
3:09
comments Michael melham is the mayor of
3:12
Belleville New Jersey now when you
3:14
walked up to set just moments ago you
3:16
said you were just briefed what can you
3:18
tell us on the way here I was on the
3:20
phone with my OEM team and we now have
3:22
guidance coming from the state and that
3:24
guidance does say two different things
3:26
first of all there is a down drone in
3:28
our vicinity we are immediately to call
3:30
the bomb squad of our County and second
3:32
our fire department has been instructed
3:34
to make sure they wear hazmat suits so
3:36
if something falls out of the sky that
3:38
people have seen and some of these
3:40
things are as big as an
3:41
SUV if that happens you're to treat this
3:46
more than a plane crash it's treated
3:49
like an attack on the Homeland that is
3:51
correct because they're not quite sure
3:52
if there's a payload or not and that's
3:53
what we were told during our briefing on
3:55
Wednesday wow so look you said that you
3:58
were insulted by how the Pentagon and
4:00
the White House they messaging coming
4:01
out tell me what you're hearing um from
4:04
them and and why doesn't it match what
4:07
you were just told moments ago so we're
4:09
being told that people in New Jersey
4:11
must be crazy that they're only seeing
4:13
small aircraft and that's just not the
4:15
case if you're on the ground New Jersey
4:17
my residents are concerned and they're
4:19
quite alarmed because they have no idea
4:20
what's hovering just over their houses
4:22
have you seen these I have and how would
4:24
you describe it uh they are definitely
4:26
small airc I mean you got to understand
4:28
a drone is considered an aircraft cuz
4:29
cuz it's flying in it's flying in you
4:31
know unrestricted space or restricted
4:33
space so it's considered an an aircraft
4:35
uh these do look like a small aircraft
4:37
there's no doubt about that they don't
4:38
look like the personal drones that we're
4:39
used to seeing but they're very large
4:42
very large all right let me get to this
4:44
after several lawmakers have called for
4:45
authorities to shoot down the drones now
4:48
people residents say that they'll just
4:50
have to take matters under their own
4:52
hands if the government is refusing to
4:54
act a couple of social media posts
4:56
representing that sentiment now a good
4:58
shotgun will f that problem another
5:00
semi-automatic 3-in Magnum d0 Buck full
5:04
shot um Let me let me ask you this cuz
5:07
also what you told me as you were
5:09
sitting down we had quite the
5:12
conversation there are several theories
5:15
and then some people based on highlevel
5:17
conversations like our own New Jersey uh
5:19
representative Jeff Andrew uh Tony
5:21
Gonzalez Congressman out of Texas are
5:23
saying they're having high level
5:25
conversations with law enforcement and
5:27
and also experts who were saying that
5:30
there's a possibility that there's an
5:32
Iranian Mothership with drones now you
5:35
sat down and told me something even more
5:38
disturbing yes so we've been told uh we
5:40
had an unprecedented briefing on
5:41
Wednesday I mean 200 State Mayors were
5:44
were all gathered together and we
5:45
learned exactly what the state of New
5:47
Jersey learned which is very little uh
5:49
but the thing that we did take away from
5:51
that was that we were told very Point
5:53
Blank that these drones are hovering
5:55
over our critical infrastructure now
5:57
that's interesting cuz they're not doing
5:59
any harm they're just hovering over that
6:01
we're also told that there's no credible
6:03
threat when you start putting things
6:04
together that they're telling us you
6:06
know critical infrastructure no credible
6:08
threat they're unwilling to shoot them
6:10
down they're unwilling to do a temporary
6:12
ban and we can see them that they have
6:14
lights on them so something's not adding
6:16
up here it sounds like it might very
6:18
well be our highest level government it
6:20
might be government assets that are
6:21
being deployed as a countermeasure as a
6:24
countermeasure and so two things can be
6:27
true we know the timeline according to
6:30
Van Drew and others matches when this
6:32
so-called ship Mother Ship whatever it
6:34
is left Iran and appeared somewhere in
6:38
off our Eastern Seaboard now if it were
6:40
chalk full of drones and it released
6:41
those drones that timeline fits
6:44
according to Van Drew and others so if
6:46
that's the case of course then we would
6:48
put things in the sky because you know
6:49
the government would know look it forces
6:51
all of us to try to do some sort of
6:54
calculation of why the government
6:56
wouldn't just say something they have to
6:59
speak I mean they have to be transparent
7:01
there's no D no doubt about that because
7:03
what else is happening is now conspiracy
7:05
theories are starting to flood social
7:06
media what happens if somebody shoots
7:08
one of these down what what how does the
7:10
law look at that well we were advised to
7:12
make sure that we tell our residents
7:14
that that is not lawful uh drones are
7:16
considered aircraft and FAA you cannot
7:18
shoot uh you cannot shoot an aircraft in
7:21
New Jersey so we're being advised to
7:22
tell our residents not to shoot them
7:23
down are you worried uh we're concerned
7:25
because one New Jersey can't act we
7:27
don't have the ability to take them out
7:28
of the air
7:30
mayor melham thank you for being here
