Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and we have shocking footage
0:06
of Obama's sister being tear gassed on live television. Before we get started, please make
0:12
sure you like, comment, share and subscribe and if you want Donald Trump in the White House in 2024
0:19
smash that join button. Help us preserve our conservative values. So, the former president's
0:28
sister was giving an interview to CNN during a protest and while this is happening, the police
0:37
started firing tear gas into the crowd and she gets tear gassed during the interview and she's
0:42
you know, she's like, I can't see and this and that and I'm going to show you this clip because
0:46
it is shocking. This is the former president of the United States, half-sister. That being said
0:52
just some backstory here. This protest was in Kenya where of course Obama doesn't come from
1:00
He's Hawaiian but this protest was in Kenya where apparently he has a lot of family
1:07
and his half-sister here, she's giving the interview during a protest and the protest
1:13
is in regards to tax hikes by the Kenyan government and I want to tell you a little bit
1:19
about the difference between protesting in a place like Kenya and protesting in a place like
1:24
the United States because Kenya says no, you can't. You can't protest. The police had live ammunition
1:32
They were firing into the crowd along with the tear gas. You know, we take for granted the rights
1:39
we have in this country sometimes to protest the most ridiculous things for the most ridiculous
1:44
causes and against the most ridiculous causes. We're allowed to do that. That's the beauty of
1:50
being an American. Whether you agree or disagree, I would fight all day long for liberals to have
1:56
their right to protest whatever nonsense they want to protest for. Disagree with it a hundred percent
2:02
Disagree with it all the way but I do agree with their right to protest the same way I agree with
2:08
your right to protest and my right to protest. That's the beauty of America. Not every country
2:14
has it. You're going to see in this video just what it's like in some other countries when Obama's
2:19
sister, I mean, this is the former president of the United States' half-sister, man. They don't care
2:25
They do not care. Let's take a look at this clip and I want you to let me know in the comments
2:29
what you think about it. Anti-tax protesters have turned violent in that country. Smoke is billowing
2:35
out of the parliament building. You can see right there on your screen in the capital city of Nairobi
2:39
as protesters stormed in. You can see a lot of protesters right there. CNN has witnessed police
2:44
firing live rounds at the protesters in the street. CNN's Larry Madowo spoke with former
2:50
president Barack Obama's half-sister as tear gas filled the streets. I'm here because look at what's
2:58
happening. Young Kenyans are demonstrating for their rights. They're demonstrating with flags
3:05
and banners. I can't even see anymore. And this is a developing story. We'll bring you the latest information as it comes in
3:20
Please stay tuned for that coming
