Hey, ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia 4 Explain America, and MSNBC, the anti-Trump station, as we know it
0:09
They just revealed Trump's testimony and what the judge did to Trump and Alina Haba, his attorney
0:16

0:23
Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:27
Now, Trump's attorney Alina Haba complained about. being edited by the judge, and nobody knew really what she was talking about. That is, until MSNBC
0:36
of all places, gave the entirety of the transcript of Trump's testimony, explained what happened
0:44
before the testimony to Alina Haba and her questions and Trump's answers, and how it was all nicely done
0:52
putting a neat little bow so that Trump couldn't say what he wanted to say. Well, you tell me what kind of
0:59
justice system, that is. My thoughts on E. Gene Carroll, I'm not going to give them here
1:04
because I don't want to be sued for $83 million. But you guys can tell me what you think of
1:09
her and this case in the comments. So please watch this video and then of course, like
1:14
comment, share, and subscribe. I'm Carmine Sabie. Before Explain America, we love you guys. God
1:20
bless you. Take care, everybody. Carol versus Donald Trump, the questions his lawyer would be allowed to ask him were already
1:27
worked out in detail in discussions with the judge and the lawyers on both sides of the case while the jury was out of the courtroom Judge Lewis Kaplan instructed Donald Trump defense lawyers once again that Donald Trump would not be allowed in his testimony to contest the fact
1:44
that he raped E. Jean Carroll in the department store in Manhattan
1:48
Judge Kaplan told the lawyers that the jury in the previous E. Jean Carroll lawsuit
1:54
in the same courtroom found that Donald Trump did, in fact, sexually assault E. Jean Carroll
1:59
and that was not an issue before this jury whose duty is solely to decide how much in money damages Donald Trump should pay E. Jean Carroll
2:09
Judge Kaplan told the Trump lawyers, the jury will be instructed that regardless of what he says in court here today, he did it as far as they're concerned
2:21
That is the law. Donald Trump's lawyer, Alina Haba, then told the judge she only wanted to ask three questions
2:28
One, does Donald Trump stand by the testimony he gave in his deposition
2:32
Two, why did he deny attacking E. Jean Carroll? And three, did he tell anyone to harm E. Jean Carroll
2:41
After lengthy discussions, the judge said that the Trump lawyer could ask the first question and the third question, but not the second question
2:50
The question that the judge ruled out was, why did you deny sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll
2:56
With the ground rule set, the judge brought the jury into the courtroom, and now that we have the transcript at this late hour, we finally know what was said
3:08
The judge said Ms Haba you may call your next witness Ms Haba thank you Your Honor The defense calls President Donald Trump Deputy Clerk can please state your name
3:21

3:43
Answer, 100% yes. Question, did you deny the allegation because Ms. Carroll made an accusation
3:51
Answer, that's exactly right. She said something. I consider it a false accusation
3:56
No difference. Roberta Kaplan, E. Jean Carroll's attorney, says, objection, Your Honor
4:01
The court judge says, everything after, yes, I did is stricken. The jury will disregard it
4:07
Go ahead. Question. Did you ever instruct anyone to hurt Ms. Carroll in your statements
4:13
Answer, no, I just wanted to defend myself, my family, and frankly, the presidency
4:19
Ms. Kaplan, objection, Your Honor. The judge. Objection is sustained. Everything after no is stricken

5:16

5:23
Answer, yes. Ms. Kaplan, no further questions, Your Honor. The judge, any redirect
5:29
Redirect examination by Ms. Haba. Question. Mr. President, did you have counsel at the last trial
5:38
Answer, I had counsel. Question, did you listen to the advice of counsel at the last trial
5:44
Ms. Kaplan, objection, Your Honor. The judge sustained. Ms. Haba, no further questions
5:51
The court, thank you, Mr. Trump. You are excused. And that was it
5:57
Three minutes. The first time a former president of the United States testified under oath in a trial as a defendant in that trial
6:10
