Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and E. Jean Carroll you may
0:06
want to put your spending on hold because you may not be getting paid for a while, if ever
0:12
Before we get started please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe. Those little things
0:17
really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow. Trump attorney Alina Haba
0:22
appeared on Fox News where she spoke about the case, well two cases really. You have Letitia
0:27
James case in New York with a monstrous settlement, almost over 400 million dollars
0:34
close to a half a billion dollars at this point that they want Trump to pay. And if you followed
0:40
the case for ridiculous reasons, the banks all got paid back, where's the victim? People keep
0:46
asking where the victim is, nobody ever produces it. Then you got the E. Jean Carroll case. Now I
0:51
believe a jury and a judge decided that Trump was guilty of what they said. I believe something
0:59
other than that. And the reason I believe something other than that is I've watched E
1:04
Jean Carroll speak after and before the verdict. I've read excerpts from her book where apparently
1:12
everybody just wants a piece of her and can't keep their hands off her. She is a hot commodity
1:18
And so I believe it's absolutely ridiculous. But what Trump attorney Alina Haba says in this
1:25
interview should actually give Carroll some pause to wonder if she's ever going to see a dime of
1:30
that money. And she shouldn't. She shouldn't see any of it in my opinion. I think she's a horrible
1:35
person. I think she's, I can't say it, I'm not allowed to say it because the judge decided and
1:40
the jury decided, but I think she is in life a less than honest person. So I want you to watch
1:49
this video and let me know what you think. Also, please remember to like, comment, share, and
1:53
subscribe. I'm Carmine Sabia for Explain America. We love you guys. God bless you. Take care, everybody
2:01
So, you know, everybody watched the real estate evaluation case and the enormous settlement that
2:08
they are asking for in that case. Any update on when that money is supposed to be paid? What's
2:13
the latest, Alina? Yeah, the latest is the same. Obviously, it wasn't a settlement. It was a
2:18
judgment. President Trump has no business or wouldn't settle for something he didn't do
2:24
So this was a judgment by a judge that was clearly had, Miss James had in his pocket. You know
2:31
the judgment was absurd. The American people see that. The number is ridiculous. It's never been
2:36
seen before. We truly stand on the same position that the appellate division needs to step in
2:42
and decide what's right and parse out basically all the injustice that has happened to President
2:47
Trump. So we're waiting on the appellate division. We'll see what happens. So I know they announced
2:52
a bond in the Carroll case, around $90 million in the Carroll case this week. Any closer to
2:57
getting a bond in the real estate case? And you're right. It's a judgment, not a settlement
3:03
No agreement made in that case. Yeah, no, unfortunately, I can't speak to that. That's
3:09
privileged. And I am the attorney, one of the attorneys on that case. But like I said
3:13
the judgment's absurd. And the fact that we're even talking about this, Martha, is absurd
3:18
And I hope that the appellate division will do the right thing here, as we've seen them do a few
3:22
times before. OK, we will see. Always good to speak with you, Alina Habba. Thank you for joining
3:27
us today. You too. And get caught up on the latest on all of that. Thank you
