Boebert Makes Shocking Announcement About What McCarthy Agreed To

Hey, ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America

and help this news get out to the public where it belongs. So Jim Jordan, actually not Jim Jordan, but Speaker McCarthy

I get them confused sometimes. Speaker McCarthy finally said today, and I think it's it's it's important

He said the American people deserve to know the truth about what happened

on January 6th. He said, we've demanded demanded to see all the footage

Transparency is coming, but let's get. Even more aggressive. Here's what he said, and I think this would strike a chord with everybody

liberal, conservative, progressive, Democrat, Republican. I think this part here, the second part of his statement

strikes a chord with everybody. He said every time from the JFK files to 9-11 to now to January 6th

it's our own government, our own Department of Justice that seems to stand in the way of transparency

I mean, think about it. There are JFK files that are still hidden

That are still hidden now. You know, Lauren Boebert said on Twitter, she supports it

Speaker McCarthy says he'll be releasing all the footage from January 6th. Considering all the public has seen are edited clips

from a bunch of Democrats with an ax to grind. It sure will be nice to get some unbiased footage

And that's the truth. All the footage we've seen is from media outlets that, let's face it

are mostly friendly to Democrats. What the government has allowed us to see

And what the January 6th commission has, of course, allowed to be seen

And when you think about that, you know, you think about the these people did all have a position

They all had a stated position about their political affiliations, their political views, who they liked, who they didn't like in Donald Trump

And even if there's nothing wrong with what they showed, even if they showed

the truth of everything and everything's laid bare, right? It's the appearance of impropriety

It's the appearance of bias. That is the real problem here. But if we can see all the footage, there's no reason to classify this footage

People had cell phone cameras. There's no reason to classify this footage. It was in public

This is not a private thing. It's not classified documents. Let's see all of the footage

Let's see the protesters who were killed. There was more than one protester killed

You've all heard of Ashley Babbitt. There was other protesters killed. Let's see all of it

Let's see how, you know, did these protesters, were they, I should say, were they killed there or did they die later of something else

Footage seems to suggest that there's a lot of explaining that has to be done

And if this was done by normal police on a normal day, on a normal street in the United States, those police would be on CNN tonight and

they would be facing charges. They would be fired for beating someone the way we've seen beatings happen

Now, there was a riot. There are reasons that maybe they had to do what they had to do

There was definitely a riot. We could see that with our own eyes. So

It's now time, though, to see exactly everything that happened on January 6th

If they really want to get to the bottom of this, if they really want to stop this from ever happening again, and it was shameful, it should never happen

and it should never happen again. If they really want to stop it, then we need to see everything and know

everybody responsible in every step that was taken, not just who you want to be responsible
