Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, an impeachment news involving
0:06
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer, the New York Senator. Well, it's reached a boiling point
0:14
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe. Those little things
0:20
really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow. So the articles of impeachment
0:26
against Alejandro Mayorkas have officially been delivered to the Senate. But now it appears that
0:33
Senator Schumer, who is the leader of the Senate, decides on what gets voted on. He's getting ready
0:37
to bury them, just not even bring them for a vote or a debate. And he might get some help because
0:43
Utah Republican Senator Mitt Romney said he's not for that. But if we gave it like two hours of
0:50
debate and then dismissed it, that would be okay. No real trial like they had for Trump twice
0:57
Just dismiss it after two hours of debate. And Senator Kennedy, he's breathing fire about this
1:04
I want you to watch what he has to say because really this is a dereliction of duty in his
1:08
opinion and my opinion. Take a look at what he says and let me know what you think. As always
1:14
please remember to like, comment, share and subscribe. Those little things really help us out
1:19
and they help our channel continue to grow. I'm Carmine Sabia for Explain America. We love you
1:25
guys. God bless you. Take care, everybody. Let's talk about the Senate today. And you'll have
1:31
there's a, as you know, the impeachment articles to get rid of Mayorkas was marched down to your
1:35
chamber. When are you going to find out if Senator Schumer is going to have a trial? What's the hold
1:40
up? Isn't, doesn't he have to have a trial? No. Well, under Senate presidency, yes. Look
1:47
this is what's going on. It's pretty simple. Schumer's trying to muddy up the water to make
1:52
it look deep, but it's pretty simple. The United States House of Representatives, after months of
1:57
investigation has brought very serious charges against Secretary Mayorkas. You ought to read
2:04
the charges. Now, this is the United States House of Representatives that has done this
2:10
We're not talking about some game boy who's living in his parents' basement and has an opinion
2:16
This is the United States House of Representatives. It's only happened in 22 times in our 250 year
2:24
history. Every time the Senate has done its job and held a trial, except when the public official
2:30
impeached, quit. Now, Senator Schumer says, oh, this is just a policy disagreement. There are no
2:38
high crimes and misdemeanors. How does he know? He hasn't seen the evidence. Let me tell you what's
2:44
really going on. Schumer says this is about principle. To quote one of my favorite columnists
2:52
if you think this is about principle, how did he put it? You also think Elvis is alive and running
3:00
a small bait stand on Lake Erie. This is not about principle. This is about raw gut politics
3:08
The loon wing of the Democratic Party, led by President Biden, does not want the United States
3:14
Senate over a two day period to be to present evidence of how the Biden administration has
3:20
screwed up royally the Southern board right before an election. That's what this is all about
3:26
It's not so much he's going to get impeached, but even the testimony, once it comes out
3:30
in long form, is going to be so devastating. Schumer doesn't want to do it
3:34
It will be devastating. It will gut them like a fish. And they're not going to let that happen
3:39
no matter how many rules they have to break
