Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Fannie Willis
0:04
just made a disgusting move in her case against former President Donald Trump and 18 other
0:10
co-defendants and she's gonna get smacked down. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:24
Now as you may know, one of the co-defendants in Trump's case in Fulton County, Georgia
0:30
is Kenneth Chesebrough. Now a lot of people say that Chesebrough was the one who orchestrated the entire quote
0:38
fake electors end quote scheme and he's requested a speedy trial. He's requested for his trial to start in the late October of this year, a little more than
0:48
a month away, about two months away, which is crazy. Fannie Willis says, okay, we'll do the trial then
0:56
Sidney Powell comes along, she says she wants her trial expedited, though she didn't get
1:00
a date yet. Fannie Willis now goes back to the court and says, okay, well I don't want to try these
1:07
defendants separately. I want all 19 defendants, including former President Donald Trump, I want their trial
1:13
to start on October 29th or at the very least everybody who wants a speedy trial to start
1:19
on October 29th. Now this is outrageous, very likely to be smacked down, but what she doesn't want is
1:25
she doesn't want the defendants to be separated. Now if you're the prosecution, there's actually a reason for this besides just being petty
1:34
So what she's looking at is say you get Kenneth Chesebrough in court, right
1:39
Well John Eastman is not in court with him. And so Chesebrough says, well, John Eastman was the one that gave me the legal advice
1:46
that told me that this was all legal and above board. But John Eastman's not there
1:51
And because he's a defendant, you also can't call him as a witness. Now because of that, you get one juror that says, well, reasonable doubt here
1:58
He's mentioned in Eastman, Eastman's not here. Bang, you got an acquittal
2:02
The problem with that for her is that would start a cascade of acquittals probably because
2:07
the defendants are not being tried together. But who told her to try 19 people
2:11
I think she way overreached here. You're not going to get Trump in court in October
2:15
It's not going to happen. And she has to know that. She's preparing herself for what's going to be a smackdown by the judge
2:22
The judge is going to say absolutely not because Trump, he wants the case pushed back
2:27
There are millions of documents to read. There are countless hours of video footage and audio and all kinds of testimony they
2:33
have to go through. They can't prepare for a trial by October 29th
2:37
And Fannie Willis knows that. So to request that this be done is just setting herself up for failure
2:43
I think this whole entire case is setting herself up for failure. But does that really matter at the end of the day
2:49
Because at the end of the day, will the people of Fulton County vote for her again just because
2:54
she took it to President Donald Trump or former President Donald Trump
2:57
I think they will. Still, having this case in October, it's not going to happen. Right
3:04
I mean, Cheeseboro's case might happen in October. Even Sidney Powell's case might happen in October
3:09
But I do not believe for one second you're going to see Donald Trump in a courtroom October
3:14
29th talking about his trial being started. There's just no way. And if it did, you're just setting the stage for an appeal right off the bat
3:24
You're giving the groundwork for an appeal. As a prosecutor, you don't want to do that. Folks, I want to know what you think about this story, so let me know in the comments
3:31
Also, please remember to like, share, and subscribe because that really helps us out
