Ladies and gentlemen, it's hard to believe things could have gotten worse for CNN host Don Lemon
0:05
but they just did and it could mean the end of him at CNN
0:10
Before we get started folks, I do want to ask you as always to like, to comment

Those tiny little things do help a small channel like ours grow. Don Lemon, his problems are growing
0:27
See, there was a lot of backlash for Don Lemon this past week when he made the comments about
0:32
women over 50 not being in their prime. Now he intended that to be a shot at Nikki Haley
0:38
but it just exploded in his face fantastically, brutal. And not only did he get pushback from his
0:48
two co-hosts, both female, one was in her 40s, the other one younger. He got pushback by everybody
0:57
pretty much in media except for Whoopi Goldberg who at 67 believes a woman's not in her prime
1:04
in her 50s also, but apparently only if that's a Republican woman. And then he got pushback
1:11
even from the White House with Corrine Jean-Pierre and John Kirby actually mocking the fact that he
1:18
took aim at women over 50 not being in their prime. But the biggest problem he's facing is twofold
1:26
And it could spell, and it probably is going to spell the end of him at CNN. He's right now on a
1:30
vacation, which I think you guys know what that means. But he's on a vacation, but this is
1:38
different because you have staffers, female staffers at CNN that are saying to management
1:44
we are not going to let this go. We're simply not going to let this go
1:48
Then you have fans. Apparently CNN has been inundated with calls and letters from fans
1:57
who want Don Lemon gone. Now that, that's something that's going to be very hard for
2:02
CNN to take. In fact, CEO Chris Licht, you know, said there were remedies for when people make a
2:09
mistake like Don Lemon just made. And it's a sincere and serious mistake to tell women over 50
2:15
that they are past their prime. And I can just speak for myself. I saw my mother
2:19
may she rest in peace, buy and sell real estate and become an investor from, you know
2:26
we were living in, in, in, you know, a tough neighborhood and she became a realtor. And from
2:31
a realtor, she got into investing and she did all this on her own. And she did all of it over the
2:36
age of 50, well into her seventies. So I know there's a lot of strong women out there. There's
2:42
a lot of smart women out there. And there's no difference in a man in his fifties or sixties or
2:48
seventies and a woman in her fifties, sixties or seventies. There's no difference. Your mind still
2:53
works the same. And I think a lot of those people, they actually have, you know, the experience that
2:58
the younger people don't have. So I think 50, 60 years old, that is the prime of your life. That is
3:04
when you're hitting your stride. That's when you got some experience, you got the energy, you got the know-how. I think Don Lemon, as they said, can't, you know, and the staffer said
3:11
he can't apologize his way out of this. And I think that's correct. You've insulted a large
3:16
swath of people and that's going to be hard to undo. Folks, I want to thank you so much for
3:21
