Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and
0:03
Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman has had a really horrible month and it just got worse. Before we get started please make sure you like
0:12
comment, share, and subscribe. Those little things really help us out and they help
0:16
our channel continue to grow. So Senator Fetterman was presiding over a hearing
0:21
in the Senate on Thursday and he you know there was military appointments
0:28
being made and he kept asking if there was any objections and the same
0:33
objection kept coming from Senator Tuberville. It's the same objection he's been raising for over a year. See Tuberville wants the
0:44
woke policies and politics out of the military before he's willing to let any
0:48
of these appointments be approved and you could see the frustration with
0:51
Fetterman who really lost control of it. Let's take a look. Captain Michael R. Van Poots. Is there objection
1:02
Mr. President. From the senator from Alabama. Object. Objection is heard. Mr. President I ask that it be in order to make the same request with respect to
1:13
calendar item 227 Captain John E. Byington to be rear admiral lower half
1:20
Is there objection? President. The senator from Alabama. Object. Objection is heard
1:28
Mr. President I ask that it be in order to make the same request with respect to
1:33
calendar item 228 Captain John A. Robinson the third to be rear admiral
1:39
lower half. Is there an objection? Mr. President. The senator from Alabama
1:47
Object. Objection is heard. Is the next item calendar 229? Mr. President then I
1:56
ask the same request that it be in order to make the same request with respect to
2:01
calendar item 229 Captain David E. Ludwa to be rear admiral lower half. Is there
2:10
an objection? Mr. President. The senator from Alabama. Object. The objection is
2:16
heard. Mr. President I ask that be in order to make the same request with
2:21
respect to cap calendar item 230 Captain Peter K. Machinsky to be rear admiral
2:28
lower half. Is there an objection? Mr. President. The senator from Alabama
2:34
Object. The objection is heard. Mr. President I ask that be in order to make
2:38
the same request with respect to calendar item 231 Captain Mark F. Williams
2:45
to be rear admiral lower half. Is there an objection? Mr. President. The senator
2:51
from Alabama. Object. Objection heard. Mr. President I ask that it be in order to make the same request with respect to calendar item 231 Captain Mark F. Williams to be rear admiral lower half

Now some Democrats and some Republicans believe that Tuberville's taken the wrong approach that this is not the way to go about it that the military
3:03
appointment should get through before you address the politics but Tuberville he says he's using the only weapon he really has which is to hold up the
3:10
appointments so you're kind of between a rock and a hard place and you know
3:15
opinions Republicans and Democrats are varied on this I want to know where you
3:19
guys stand so please let me know in the comments also please remember to Like
3:23
share and subscribe it really helps us out I'm Carmine Sabia this is Explain
