guys Tom homman is not playing games
0:42
he's the new borders are well he will be
0:45
as of Monday at around noon Eastern and
0:48
he's not playing games he's going
0:50
straight for the people that said we're
0:52
not going to cooperate with the federal
0:53
agents those cities yeah he's going
0:56
there
0:57
first namely the one mayor who seems to
1:01
have challenged him the Chicago mayor
1:04
he's going straight to
1:06
Chicago he he wants to and and I think
1:09
guys I'm going to prepare you for this
1:11
because you're going to see a lot of
1:12
quote unquote heartbreaking images on
1:14
Monday and especially on
1:16
Tuesday you are going to see illegal
1:18
immigration raids they're going to tell
1:21
you that they're tearing people away
1:24
from their families from their children
1:26
I'm here to tell you that people who
1:28
entered the country illegally
1:30
broke the law that's what the term
1:32
illegally means otherwise they'd be
1:36
called Legal immigrants and nobody be
1:38
bothering them but these are illegal
1:40
immigrants so they have broken the law
1:44
that being said Homan said they're going
1:45
to go after the hard criminals first the
1:47
gang members the drug dealers the people
1:49
that you don't want on the streets of
1:50
your city we're going after them
1:53
first and you should expect to see these
1:55
raids literally on Tuesday maybe on
1:58
Monday
1:59
so month Tuesday be the first full day
2:02
of the Trump
2:04
Administration and yeah homan's not
2:06
playing games I want you to listen to
2:08
this hear what he has to say and let me
2:10
know what you think in the comments are
2:12
they better Brian Todd a reporting for
2:15
us Brian thank you very much I want to
2:16
bring in our analysts for our important
2:18
political panel right now Alex Thompson
2:21
moving the inauguration indoors means
2:23
there will be far fewer seats available
2:26
for those who were planning to attend
2:27
what kind of scramble has this set off I
2:30
mean huge you can go to the National
2:31
Mall right now you can see thousands of
2:33
chairs already set up that are now going
2:35
to be unfilled and are going to be
2:36
collected you know and Donald Trump
2:38
really wanted to sort of reset from the
2:40
2017 inauguration which you know was
2:43
much mocked as not being completely full
2:45
you remember right afterward they said
2:46
it was the most attended Inauguration in
2:47
history you know I think they collected
2:49
a lot of money and they expected a lot
2:51
of supporters to come out and show huge
2:53
enthusiasm he's not going to get that
2:55
now certainly not it's going to be much
2:57
much smaller crowd inside the capital
2:59
Rotunda Lauren I want to get your
3:01
reaction to something that former Obama
3:03
Campaign Chief strategist David David
3:05
Axelrod posted just a little while ago
3:08
and I'm quoting him now in 61 John F
3:10
Kennedy was inaugurated on the capital
3:12
steps in windchills of 7 degrees it was
3:15
almost as cold for Obama and 09 In
3:18
fairness Trump is more than three
3:20
decades older than JFK and Obama were or
3:23
did he just fear small crowds and and
3:26
saying let's move it indoors D yeah you
3:28
know I actually want if there's more of
3:30
a security threat than people are
3:31
letting on considering that this is a
3:33
president that has um two assassination
3:35
attempts against him already uh the
3:36
capitol runda like the gentleman
3:38
mentioned is a much more secure
3:40
environment so while I think that there
3:42
is a lot of concerns about his
3:43
supporters and everyone being out in the
3:45
cold I wonder also if there wasn't
3:47
briefings that uh led to this movement
3:50
that might be more around um making sure
3:54
the president stays safe yeah I think
3:55
you you make an important Point Ashley
3:57
Democrats as you don't criticize Trump
3:59
for skipping Biden's inauguration back
