hey ladies and gentlemen this is carmind
0:01
Sabia 4 explain America and woke Bishop
0:05
Bud well there's a big Scandal
0:08
surrounding her right now before we get
0:11
started please make sure you like

0:23

0:25
youtube.com/ explain amera and hit
0:28
subscribe absolutely free it really
0:30
helps us out by now you guys all saw
0:34
what this woke Episcopal Bishop had to
0:37
say to president Trump scolding him
0:39
reprimanding him lecturing him in a
0:42
church
0:44
setting absolutely
0:47
horrible absolutely no place for that
0:49
she talks about preaching the Bible
0:51
listen I'm not a person that is a
0:53
Biblical expert and I don't want to lead
0:55
anybody down the wrong path but I have
0:58
serious questions about her ability to
1:00
preach the Bible when I hear her
1:02
preaching what sounds to me a lot like
1:03
Sodom and
1:04
Gomorrah and saying that's
1:07
okay but deporting illegal
1:11
aliens apparently that's not okay you
1:13
can have mercy you can show Mercy I'm
1:14
all for Mercy you can show Mercy when
1:17
you send somebody back
1:19
home if somebody were to break into your
1:21
house you can show them
1:23
Mercy by calling the police and having
1:25
them arrest it you're still being
1:28
merciful if if that's
1:30
possible depending on your
1:33
situation so you also have to provide
1:36
protection you have to provide Mercy to
1:38
the people who live here who are forced
1:41
to pay for these people who are victims
1:43
of their crimes who you know have to
1:46
deal with
1:47
this you got to show Mercy to them
1:50
too well this
1:53
bishop she she milked it right just like
1:56
we knew she would she went on CNN she
1:59
went on the she went on any show that
2:01
would have her cuz that was the whole
2:04
point wasn't it well as it turns out we
2:08
found some stuff out about this little
2:10
Bishop this little Bishop who's supposed
2:12
to be nonpartisan just a bishop just
2:14
preaching the word that's a lie we found
2:18
out that she's a far-left activist that
2:19
she has donated to Democrat campaigns
2:21
and Democrat causes and we found out
2:24
that her
2:26
son works for a group funded by George
2:31
Soros
2:33
yeah yeah Trump walked into an ambush
2:36
and we need to find out who set that
2:38
up and then head's got to roll I want
2:42
you to watch this clip and let me know
2:43
what you think in the comments Bishop I
2:46
appreciate your time and and your tone
2:50
there so serious and genuine you see him
2:53
he's Stone faed he then looks down but
2:54
he's listening to every word you say as
2:57
you made that personal plea to him what
3:03
were you looking at him in that moment
3:04
what kind of response were you perhaps
3:07
hoping for in that
3:12
moment I was I was looking at the
3:15
president because I was speaking
3:16
directly to him I was also frankly as
3:20
you do in every sermon speaking to
3:22
everyone who was listening through that
3:25
one-on-one conversation with the
3:26
president reminding us all that in the
3:30
people that are frightened in our
3:32
country the two groups of people that I
3:34
mentioned are our fellow human beings um
3:37
and that they have been portrayed in all
3:40
throughout the political campaign in the
3:43
harshest of lights that I um I wanted to
3:47
I I wanted
3:49
to to counter as gently as I could with
3:52
a reminder of their humanity and their
3:56
and their place in our wider community
3:58
and I was speaking to the president
3:59
because I I felt that he has this moment
4:04
now where he feels charged and empowered
4:07
to do what he feels called to do and I
4:11
wanted to say you know there is room for
4:14
Mercy there's room for a broader
4:17
compassion we don't need to uh portray
4:22
with a broad cloth in the harshest of
4:24
terms some of the most vulnerable people
4:26
in our society who are in fact um are
4:29
our neighbors our friends our children
4:32
our friends children and so forth so you
4:35
you spoke I I I like how you use the
4:37
word gently because it was gentle I mean
4:40
it was it was intense and passionate but
4:42
yet it was gentle it was not ugly or
4:45
confrontational uh wouldn't expect it to
4:47
be but you know these are hard things to
4:49
talk about in in that context you spoke
4:52
obviously about undocumented migrants
4:54
also the LGBT community the two
4:55
communities you're talking about I I
4:57
wanted to play a little bit more of what
4:58
you said and also again the president's
5:01
reaction at that
5:03
moment there are gay lesbian and
5:07
transener children in Democratic
5:11
Republican and independent
5:13
families some who fear for their lives
5:17
the vast majority of immigrants are not
5:20
criminals they pay taxes and are good
5:23
neighbors I ask you to have mercy Mr
5:26
President on those in our communities
5:28
whose children fear that their parents
5:30
will be taken
5:32
away what made you decide to say all
5:35
that
5:37
today well these are the people that I
5:39
know uh these are not abstract people
5:41
for me these are actual people that I
5:44
know so I wanted to speak on their
5:47
behalf
5:49
um I wanted to present a vision of what
5:53
Unity can look like in this country that
5:55
is transcending of differences and
5:58
viewpoints and acknowledging our common
6:01
Humanity yes I wanted to speak in such a
6:03
way that reflected that dignity and
6:06
respect but I also wanted to bring into
6:11
uh into that space the real Humanity of
6:16
the people that I was referencing
