Yesterday during a press briefing, Corrine Jean-Pierre, the White House Press Secretary, was speaking to reporters

and she was asked about the ongoing Trump case. You know, the one involving Stormy Daniels, Michael Cohen, Alvin Bragg, the alleged hush money trial

And she said something very telling when responding to it, something that caught the attention of a lot of people

She said she couldn't talk about it because it involved the 2024 presidential election

But wait, I thought this was just a legal case. I didn't think this involved the presidential election

This wasn't supposed to be about politics, was it Corrine? Oh, sometimes you say the quiet part you're not supposed to say and you say it for the world to hear and that's what happened here

Destroyed Donald Trump at all costs. The impeachment didn't work. So what did they do

Try to put him into jail, try to find the criminal conviction. And I think as we're seeing already, it's backfiring

And they're not allowing Trump supporters within four blocks of the courthouse because they don't want that imagery

It's all staged for television by the Democrats. It could hardly be more corrupt if they tried

But, you know, maybe this is them trying. You know, Cringe, as she's well known, Cringe Jean-Pierre, the spokesmodel down at the White House

was asked today to comment on Trump's trial. And her response kind of said the quiet part out loud

Was it appropriate for Speaker Johnson to show up at the trial of the former president

So, look, I can't speak to, don't want to comment, obviously, as this is related to 2024 elections

And I can't speak to the speaker's schedule. Now, Jason, that was that was pretty hilarious. That had people laughing all over the city

So she just said that this is part of the campaign, which is what Republicans have been saying all along. Yeah

She said, you know, I can't talk about it because it's politics and it's the campaign

This is what we're running on. Well, I mean, Donald Trump is the leading or is the candidate from the Republican Party

So in order to divorce this completely from politics, I think that's actually impossible

I would say in terms of, you know, trials, you guys keep saying Tajikistan

But I would say there are some pretty prominent democracies around the country, around the world

that have had their leaders go on trial, including Israel, including Brazil, including Italy

I mean, your guy was there for a while. He was there

You know, who was the guy before Lula? That was your guy. But I would also say Dan Goldman is not part of the White House

He's not part of the DOJ. You know, I don't know why he was involved, but he's not in any way involved with those entities
