0:32
really helps us out guys a violation of
0:36
the law that's what happened that's what
0:39
Marco Rubio the senator from Florida
0:41
says
0:42
happened when Lauren Michaels of
0:44
Saturday Night Live invited kamla Harris
0:47
onto the set of Saturday Night Live to
0:50
make essentially a campaign speech you
0:51
see we have equal time laws in this
0:54
country Lauren Michaels just last month
0:56
said he would not have a candidate on
0:59
Saturday Night Live because of those
1:01
equal time laws because you'd have to
1:02
have every candidate on third party
1:04
candidates on you can't have
1:07
that and yet at the last minute
1:10
probably probably pressured by NBC
1:12
Executives though I don't I can't prove
1:15
that he acquiesced and allowed kamla
1:18
Harris to appear on Saturday Night
1:20
Live
1:22
that that had the guy who's in charge of
1:24
the FCC saying wait a second we have a
1:27
violation here a massive violation
1:31
now Trump won the day in my opinion
1:35
because in order to give him equal time
1:37
they gave him a commercial spot on on
1:40
Sunday Night Football and
1:42
NASCAR and I'd rather have that than a
1:45
spot on a show by SNL that only liberals
1:49
watch this or mostly only liberals watch
1:52
I think this was a victory for Trump but
1:55
can can the people at s live still be
1:57
facing punishment for this I want you to
2:00
watch this report on it and then let me
2:02
know what you think in the comments
2:04
before an election well in an effort to
2:06
make things right NBC offered the former
2:08
president free commercial time following
2:10
Sunday's NASCAR coverage which he
2:13
accepted Joe kcha is a Fox News
2:15
contributor and he joins us now Joe good
2:18
morning to you so this whole situation
2:19
just erupted yesterday and it's
2:21
interesting because Lauren Michaels
2:24
clearly knew this rule because last
2:26
month Lord Michaels of course the
2:28
executive producer of SNL said either
2:30
candidate would appear on Saturday Night
2:32
Live saying quote You Can't Bring the
2:33
actual people who are running on because
2:35
of election laws and the equal time
2:37
provision you can't have the main
2:39
candidates without having all the
2:41
candidates well they had one candidate
2:43
and look at the situation they've gotten
2:45
into so they offered Donald Trump's
2:47
campaign a commercial space after the
2:50
Nascar race yesterday which he took
2:52
advantage of so what do you think about
2:54
this whole situ situation is everything
2:57
okay now that that he appeared after the
3:00
car race
3:01
yesterday well what this tells us Carly
3:03
is that maybe Lauren Michaels had one
3:05
idea and then the top brass at MBC over
3:08
30 Rock across the street from you had
3:11
quite another so they decided to bring
3:13
on KLA Harris on SNL 3 days before an
3:16
election and obviously gave her uh that
3:19
platform but uh good for NBC at least to
3:22
give Donald Trump the equal time that he
3:24
deserved and being on during a big
3:26
Nascar race May have reached more
3:28
viewers in the end than obviously we're
3:30
talking about this now when the kamla
3:32
Harris skit that we saw on SNL uh is
3:34
something that has been seen and
3:36
forgotten already so this is what we've
3:39
seen throughout this entire election
3:40
Carly we have seen media bias from ABC
3:43
News during their obviously debate
3:45
moderation CBS News during their vice
3:47
presidential debate moderation obviously
3:50
from the CNN's and msnbc's the world the
3:52
bottom line is that there's an election
3:54
coming tomorrow and people
3:57
are The Jig Is up we'll put it that way
3:59
way that people know that they're not
4:01
getting an honest objective media
4:03
anymore they are an extension of the
4:06
kamla Harris campaign and Democrats in
4:09
general and quite frankly since they're
4:10
so not trusted by so many people it's
4:12
not going to have any impact in my
4:14
opinion yeah and you know I it's also
4:16
interesting because of what Lauren
4:17
Michaels said he said that there are a
4:19
ton of C
