Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and former President
0:05
Donald Trump has dropped a bombshell on who his vice presidential candidate or pick might
0:11
be and it's going to shock you because it's not a Republican
0:16

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:24
Now the former president has been really, really big on, you know, kind of playing that
0:31
apprentice game of who's it going to be. And in recent months, weeks, days, there's been a lot of speculation
0:37
We've heard a lot of names bandied about. A lot of women in the Republican Party like Kristi Noem, Marjorie Taylor Greene have been
0:46
you know, mentioned as possible vice presidential candidates to go along with Trump in the 2024
0:53
presidential election should he win the nomination and then be successful and defeat President
0:58
Joe Biden. But there's one name that's not a woman that's from the Democrat Party that has really caused
1:04
a lot of speculation. Let's take a look at what Trump had to say about it on Newsmax
1:08
Well, it was a different party than it is now. Now it's a Marxist party
1:12
It's a communist party virtually. If you take a look, I mean, these people are radical left
1:16
Debbie Wasserman Schultz was involved in that whole thing with the server
1:20
What happened to the server? And you haven't heard about her for years. I haven't heard her name mentioned for two or three years
1:27
And now all of a sudden she comes back to attack Robert Kennedy, Jr
1:31
You know, big name in the party. The Kennedy name is a big name in the party, and they're the ones doing the attacking
1:37
And the Republicans are sitting back watching and saying, well, sort of agree with him
1:42
So it's very interesting, actually, isn't it? It certainly is. You know, I doubt the Democrat machine is going to let Kennedy get anywhere near this nomination
1:49
I'm sure you agree on that. If he runs, though, as a third party candidate, what do you think that does in this next election
1:55
I don't know, but he's got great support in the party. He's got the Democrat Party
1:59
He's got 20 percent. I saw a poll today, 23 percent of the vote
2:03
That's a lot of vote. And so I don't know what he run as an independent
2:08
He get a lot of votes, I can tell you. Yeah, that's you know, a lot of people like you and him as a combination, too
2:14
I don't think that can happen. But have you ever thought about that? I just Trump
2:18
I read the same things that you do. There are a lot of people suggesting it
2:23
There's no question about that. No, I've known him over the years. He's a smart guy and well-intentioned
2:30
I really believe he's very well-intentioned. I believe that, too. I want to RFK would be a heck of a pick
2:36
He's pretty popular among some Democrats. And if you can bring over just enough votes from the Democrat side, you can actually have
2:43
a victory over Joe Biden without having to get a preponderance of the vote of the popular vote
2:49
It would actually be strategically very interesting to see him take this stance
2:53
I don't know what the right pick is. I'm not smart enough for that. But I do know that this would be a political earthquake, a Democrat and Republican ticket
3:03
I mean, you know, people that want to see unified unifying parties and they want to
3:08
see the parties get together. This is something they've been looking for
3:12
And it could bring even a lot of independence to the fold and say, hey, you know what
3:16
Here's a ticket we can get behind that has it's not super partisan
3:20
It's got something for both parties. I like the idea. What do you guys think
3:25
Let me know in the comments, please. Also, please remember to like, share and subscribe
3:29
