0:32
out Trump has put Gavin Newsome on
0:35
notice today in fact he said that Gavin
0:37
Nome needs to release the water that is
0:41
up north up north in California and let
0:44
it flow down to the South see what
0:46
happened
0:47
was they have they passed a bill over a
0:50
decade ago to capture water and build
0:53
new reservoirs in the South not a single
0:55
drop of water has been captured not a
0:58
single Reservoir built
1:00
they've collected money for it but they
1:02
haven't done it then they've locked up a
1:04
bunch of the water up north to protect
1:06
the smelt which is a fish that doesn't
1:10
require a lot of water in the South and
1:13
so that you know keep the water out of
1:15
there so the smelt Can Survive and
1:16
Thrive that's great for the Melt here's
1:18
the problem there's massive wildfires
1:21
going on right
1:22
now so maybe I don't know release the
1:26
dang water so the firefighters can use
1:29
it
1:30
to combat this historic Blaze I don't
1:33
know that seems like that might be a
1:35
wise idea to
1:38
me Trump demanded that Gavin Nome
1:42
resign because he's done such a horrible
1:44
job and I agree with him
1:47
but there is another part of this and
1:49
that's the video I'm going to show you
1:52
where Trump
1:53
being the president that he is or is
1:55
about to be
1:56
again being a true leader
2:00
he vowed to work with Gavin Newsome to
2:02
help fix help restore California in the
2:05
Los Angeles area which is no fan of
2:08
his because he's going to be the
2:10
president when this is all
2:12
done and it was good to see that we
2:15
could still have some elected leaders we
2:17
can count on I want you to watch this
2:19
and let me know what you think in the
2:21
comments this uh first of all that madej
2:26
a disaster declaration improved next
2:28
level of appreciation of all the
2:30
residents here in Southern California um
2:33
as the chief said we have prepositioned
2:35
assets uh this weekend in anticipation
2:39
of these weather events the complexity
2:41
of multiple fires of the likelihood of
2:44
these weather events this one event
2:45
contined in the course of the next many
2:48
days impacts of over a th structures
2:50
already that destroyed 100 plus thousand
2:53
people uh that have been evacuated lives
2:56
loss uh Traditions Lifestyles places
3:00
under uh his the world to us and and
3:03
just publicly because I think it's
3:04
important president happen to be in the
3:07
region in town it's impossible for me to
3:11
express um the level of appreciation uh
3:14
and cooperation you Reed from the White
3:17
House in this Administration so back all
3:20
thank you for being here but not just
3:22
being here today thank you for being
3:23
here since the minute of this incident
3:26
when there was a 10 acre fire less than
3:28
24 or so hours ago of deep gratitude
3:32
it's astounding what's happened I uh
3:34
there only one piece of good news my son
3:36
lives out here and his wife they they
3:39
got a notification yesterday their home
3:41
was probably burned in the ground today
3:44
it appears that it may be still standing
3:45
I'm not sure but the good news is I'm a
3:49
great grandfather as of
3:53
today
3:54
granddaughter 10B 4 o baby girl baby boy
3:58
so he can remember this day for a lot of
4:01
wrong reasons
4:17
[Applause]
4:21

4:24
briefing that President Biden has been
4:26
