Trump Gives Blunt Answer After Reporter Asks Him About DeSantis Running Against Him

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and things are getting

really intense between former President Donald Trump and current Republican Governor of Florida

Ron DeSantis. Folks, before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe

and spread the conservative message. And speaking of conservative message, Trump had a not so conservative message for Ron DeSantis

And when I say not so conservative, I mean he wasn't conservative about his thoughts

and opinions. Look, by now it's obvious these are the two heavyweights in the fight, right

You don't see DeSantis or Trump taking shots at Nikki Haley or Tim Scott or Hutchinson or

Ramaswamy or any of these people. They just keep taking shots at each other

This is Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. It's these two guys. Everybody knows it

What I don't like about the primary season, it's my least favorite part of election season

is Republicans hitting each other. It drives me nuts. But you have to admit, there's something about when Trump responds that just is hilarious

It's hilarious. He responds in a way that only he can. It's that personality he has, that rockstar persona that nobody else has and nobody else

can seem to capture. Well, he was asked during a live golf tournament that he was hosting about Ron DeSantis and

his thoughts on him as he enters the Republican presidential primary. And he answered it in the Trumpiest way you could possibly imagine

Let's take a look at it. If you were on a debate stage with Ron DeSantis, what would you say to him

What would be your interactions with him? Well, I watched him with Charlie Crist and he got very badly beaten with Charlie Crist

Adam Putnam beat him. I don't know. They say he's not a very good debater, but maybe he is

We'll find out. Maybe we'll find out. Because unless it gets close, why would anybody debate

Are you angry, Mr. President, that Ron DeSantis entered the race? No, I think he's a very disloyal person because he was dead

He was looking for jobs and I endorsed him and he won up many points

He was 30 points down, at least, maybe more than that. He was dead

So I think he's very disloyal, but I don't care. Look, a poll just came out in Iowa

You saw the one that just came out a couple of minutes ago. I'm leading by 30 or 40 points

I don't mind that at all. But no, I think he's very disloyal, but he's got no personality

If you don't have personality, politics is a very hard business. You know, as I recall, Ron DeSantis cleaned Charlie Crist's clock

But I didn't watch the debates, so I don't know how he debated

There was no point to a debate there. DeSantis just rolled over him

But, you know, again, I hate this part. It's like watching two of your best friends fight

You know what I mean? You just stand back. You hope nobody gets hurt too bad

And you hope at the end of it they get together and support each other

We need both of these men. They are both strong conservative leaders

Neither one of them is a rhino. You know, I've seen people call DeSantis a rhino, Trump is a rhino

Stop that. Stop that. The Democrats want that. They want to see us destroy each other

Let's not give them that. Neither one of these guys is a rhino. Rhino, by definition, means Republican in name only

Well, both of these guys have passed super conservative policies and have super conservative policy platforms

So neither one is a rhino, and it's ridiculous to say that. So let's stop the fighting amongst each other

Let's let these guys hash it out. And whoever wins, wins. And let's all get together and support whoever that winner is
