Hello folks and welcome to Explain America. My name's Carmine Sabia. You know there's an issue
0:05
a lot of minor league baseball players face when they get to the major leagues. As good as they
0:11
were in the minors, sometimes they just can't hang with the big boys. Folks that's the situation that
0:17
Alvin Bragg is faced with now and he's about to get a curveball that he was not expecting
0:24
in front of the world. Before we get started please make sure you like, comment, share
0:28
and subscribe. It really helps our channel out and if you like that sort of thing you're going
0:33
to love our videos and keep watching them. Now Bragg has been a big fish in a little pond
0:42
He's been able to run roughshod in New York City and do what he wants to do
0:47
because people really aren't privy to exactly how bad things have gotten, especially if you
0:52
live outside of New York. As somebody who lives in the New York City area I can tell you
0:59
it's gotten increasingly worse during the tenure of Alvin Bragg, but don't take it from me
1:04
Take it from New York Democrat Councilman Robert Holden. See Mr. Holden is going to be testifying
1:14
in front of Jim Jordan's committee on Monday about Mr. Alvin Bragg and what he's done to
1:20
the city's crime rate. When Alvin Bragg first started he sent a memorandum to prosecutors in
1:27
his city not to prosecute petty crimes and his idea of petty crimes is resisting arrest
1:35
public urination, petty theft, meaning you can you know steal a certain amount from stores and
1:41
nobody prosecutes you. That coupled with bail reform in the state of New York and the city
1:47
of New York has seen an increase in crime for the first time. Until 2019, until the bail reform law
1:56
until all this crazy stuff started happening, New York saw a decrease in crime for 17 years
2:02
but once the criminals knew that they could commit crimes and not be prosecuted anymore, well
2:09
it was showtime for the criminals, right? It was time for them to get to work doing their job
2:14
and their job is crime. Well Holden says that New York has become basically a cesspool
2:22
under Bragg's leadership as district attorney and he's about to expose it all in front of the world
2:27
on Monday. Now the question, will the regular cable stations, not Fox News, but will the regular you
2:34
know cable stations that go out to the liberal audiences like CNN and MSNBC, will they cover it
2:39
Fat chance. Will ABC or NBC or CBS cover it on their local? Probably not, but how long can you
2:48
hide it? Especially to the people of New York City who see it happening in front of them every day
2:55
Sure, if you're a criminal, well then Alvin Bragg's got your vote for district attorney, no doubt about
3:00
it, he's your man. But if you actually want to protect crime, if you want to protect the citizens
3:06
and not the criminals, well then Alvin Bragg is not your man. Unless the only criminal you're
3:11
concerned with getting, in your opinion, is somebody who made a paperwork error, possibly
3:17
in former President Donald Trump. That's the crime that he wants to prosecute. That's the
3:23
so-called crime that he wants to prosecute. Well his city devolves into a hellscape under his
3:30
leadership, under his prosecutorial judgment. That's the crime, quote-unquote, that he wants
3:39
to prosecute. Well now Bragg is going to be exposed for the politician and the political
3:44
hack that he is. And the world will know after watching this, that there's only one reason he's
3:51
prosecuting former President Donald Trump, and that reason is politics. There can be no other
3:56
reason when you realize he doesn't prosecute hardly anything else. So folks, with that I want
4:01
to thank you for joining us here today to Explain America. Again, please remember to like, comment
4:06
share, and subscribe. We love you guys. God bless you. Take care everybody
