Former ambassador, current Republican presidential candidate, and former governor of South Carolina
0:07
Nikki Haley, has just dropped a bombshell. And we're going to get into it, but it's going to shake up the Republican Party

Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe

Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:22
So Nikki Haley was on CBS's Face the Nation this weekend, and she weighed in on what's
0:28
going on with Mitch McConnell, the Senate minority leader, and the governor, or the
0:34
senator from Kentucky, the Republican senator from Kentucky. And she said it's time for him to step aside
0:40
It's time for him to get out. It's time for him to leave. Her reasonings for this, you know, are the two freezing episodes that we saw, his age
0:49
of 81, and a lot of other mitigating factors. Let's take a look at what Nikki Haley had to say
0:55
From his leadership position. Bob, I am completely for term limits. I'm completely for mental competency tests for anyone over the age of 75
1:06
And I'm not saying that to be disrespectful. Here you have Mitch McConnell, who's done great service to the country
1:12
You have Dianne Feinstein, who had a great career. You've got Nancy Pelosi, who's been there a long time
1:18
At what point do they get it's time to leave? They need to let a younger generation take over
1:24
We want to go and start working for our kids to make sure we have a strong national security
1:29
to make sure we have a stronger economic policy, to make sure that America is safe
1:34
And we can't do that if these individuals refuse to give up power
1:38
This is not just a Republican or Democrat problem. This is a congressional problem
1:43
And they've got to know when to leave. It is time to pass this down to a new generation of conservative leaders that want to take
1:50
our country to a better place. So just to be clear, when Republican senators come back to Washington, should they have
1:56
a leadership shakeup on the table? And should they talk about potentially having somebody else come in as the leader in the Senate
2:05
I want this for Republicans and Democrats. I want to make sure that they all know it's time to go
2:10
There's a reason the American people want term limits. It's because they don't want people staying there forever
2:16
They don't want people drunk on the power. They don't want people to think they're the only ones that know how to run Congress
2:22
Because right now, what has Congress done for you lately? We have an open border that's out of control
2:28
They're spending like drunken sailors. We've got continued issues, whether it comes with education, whether it comes with a debt
2:35
whether it comes with how we're going to have national security. We need people at the top of their game
2:40
We have too many issues on the table that need to be dealt with
2:44
We can't continue to have these people who think they know better than the American people
2:49
The American people are saying it is time to go. If they would approve term limits, the American people would show that
2:55
But until then, they've got to know that, look, we appreciate your service, but it's
2:59
time to step away. And I personally agree with her. I think that it is time for Mr. McConnell to step aside
3:05
He's been a great senator. He's got a Supreme Court justices. He filled the judiciary all across the country with conservatives
3:13
He has been and will be in history one of the ultimate chess players in Washington, D.C
3:20
Just like the late Harry Reid, just like Nancy Pelosi, whether you like them or not, they
3:25
were very, very good at their jobs. Mitch McConnell falls into that vein
3:30
But it looks like it's time, Mitch, you know, to step aside, take care of your health, you
3:35
know, enjoy your retirement, live your life, be healthy, be happy. Folks, I want to know what you think
3:42
Is it time for Mr. McConnell to step aside? Let me know in the comments. Do you agree with Nikki Haley
3:48
