Could Liz Cheney, the ousted former Republican representative from Wyoming, become the next
0:06
Speaker of the House? Absolutely. Stay tuned and I'm going to tell you just how it can be done and just how easy it can
0:13
be done as soon as tomorrow. But first, before we get started, please remember to like, comment, share, subscribe

0:28
We break it down for you. Your support really means everything to us and it's super important
0:33
So thank you guys for that. Okay. So here's a couple things you have to understand from Joe
0:39
Number one, anybody, you, me, anybody can be Speaker of the House
0:44
You do not have to be an elected representative in the House of Representatives to be Speaker
0:48
of the House. I know a lot of people don't know that and it sounds crazy, but it's true
0:53
Anybody in the United States can be Speaker of the House. That's one
0:58
It's never happened before, but it can, it's within the realm of possibility. It is totally legal
1:03
Now you have a standoff between some members of the Republican Freedom Caucus and the majority
1:12
of the Republicans, over 200 Republicans who want Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House
1:17
And you think about this, Republicans kind of do this a lot
1:21
Boehner, they wanted him gone. Paul Ryan, they wanted him gone. McCarthy, there's a wing that won't support him
1:28
And you know, you don't see that with Democrats. Democrats pretty much walk, walk, step
1:31
I mean, AOC and her, her crew got together and they opposed Pelosi for like a minute
1:37
but they got put back in place, put back in line and then went along to get along
1:42
Democrats don't do what Republicans do. Now you could make strong arguments against Paul Ryan and John Boehner
1:49
I have made those arguments. I don't think they were good speakers
1:54
Usually the party sticks together at least until the next election for Speaker
1:59
But now this, this is, is given Democrats quite a laugh. Uh, they're, they're enjoying themselves, mocking Republicans who can't get it together
2:06
on elective speaker. The McCarthy wing says they're not going anywhere. The anti McCarthy wing says they're not going anywhere, but here's the thing
2:14
Here's where Republicans can really, really destroy themselves. It will take seven, seven Republicans to join Democrats, to elect a speaker outside
2:25
of the majority of Republicans. Now Hakeem Jeffrey springs to mind, right
2:30
Except there's not one Republican that's going to support any Democrat for Speaker of the house
2:35
That's never going to happen, but you know what there are, there are plenty of never
2:39
Trump Republicans, more than enough anti-MAGA Republicans that are in the house of representatives
2:44
right now that could say, you know what? Enough of this. We can elect one of our own, one that Democrats can agree to one that Democrats love and we
2:52
can make that person a speaker and nobody stands out more than Liz Cheney
2:57
I believe a hundred percent if they don't get it together, seven never Trump Republicans
3:01
can join the Democrats. It absolutely can happen and elect Liz Cheney as speaker
3:06
It can happen. It could happen. It might happen because the house is just not going to allow this to continue for too long
3:14
They're now going on to the fourth ballot. This could go on for days, weeks, months, and here's the thing
3:19
No work can get done until the speaker is elected. They can't vote on any legislation
3:23
They can't do anything. It makes the Republicans look like a party who can't govern
3:26
And at the end of this whole thing, what might actually happen is that the Republican snatch
3:31
defeat from the jaws of victory and Liz Cheney gets the last laugh
3:35
I pray it doesn't happen. I think cooler heads should prevail before it could happen, but it could happen
3:42
