Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America
0:03
You know, time and time again, former President Donald Trump has said he thinks the judge
0:08
in the Manhattan case against him is unfair and that he thinks the judge is kind of trying
0:15
to sabotage him, out to get him. Couple that with a district attorney, Alvin Bragg, who's definitely out to get him, and
0:22
he thinks the whole process is unfair. Well, after the judge's latest revelation, his latest order, it's kind of hard to argue
0:29
that point with him anymore. Folks, before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe

That kind of stuff really helps us out and helps our channel continue to grow

Judge Marchand had former President Donald Trump in his courtroom yesterday, so to speak
0:46
via video conference. And at this hearing, he was told certain things he can't say about the trial
0:52
Now, he can't say them on Truth Social, he can't say them on Twitter, he can't say them
0:57
on Facebook, he can't say them on YouTube, and he certainly can't say them on the campaign
1:01
trail, and that kind of limits his options. But that's not even the big news of this story
1:07
Still, the judge said, I'm not trying to affect the presidential election, I'm not trying
1:12
to stop Trump from campaigning, I'm not even trying to stop him from declaring his innocence
1:18
You know, but that's a fine line, because if he says the wrong thing, he's put in contempt
1:23
and he's placed behind bars. The former President of the United States, behind bars, because he spoke
1:30
He spoke words he's not supposed to speak. But that's not even the worst part
1:35
The worst part is, he set the trial for the end of March
1:39
You know what the end of March is? It's smack dab in the hottest part of the Republican primary season
1:46
So the odds on favorite to win the Republican primary just get smacked with this
1:51
He's going to be campaigning in the middle of it. The judge took it even further
1:56
He said that he has to clear his calendar, and he shouldn't schedule anything for around
2:01
the time of the trial. So there's three primary dates at the month of March, in the month of March
2:08
And during those three primary dates, all of Trump's opponents, they're going to be traversing the country, going to primary states, trying to get the vote
2:15
And Trump's going to be stuck at home in Mar-a-Lago, not able to go get the vote
2:19
How is that not election interference? How is that not directly interfering in an election
2:26
How is that not handicapping former President Donald Trump from giving his best campaign
2:32
When he can't go to the people and ask for their vote directly, go to their states and
2:38
ask them to vote for him, like every candidate has done since this country began, when he
2:43
is not allowed to do that, how is it fair? How is it not election interference
2:51
How is this saving democracy? You are stacking the deck against this man
2:57
You are stacking the deck against one candidate, because the truth is, none of you want him
3:01
anywhere near the White House. And of course, I'm talking to them, not you viewers
3:07
That's ridiculous. It's unfair. I don't know if there's any recourse. I don't know if there's any way they can challenge this
3:14
I don't know if there's anything they can do legally to stop this. This is his courtroom, and he sets the dates
3:20
But I know this, it stinks, and it's not fair. Folks, please make sure you share this story, and please make sure you comment on this story
