hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine
0:02
Saia for explain America and vice
0:05
president elect JD Vance has set off a
0:08
firestorm and raised a lot of eyebrows
0:11
saying he's going to skip the
0:14
inauguration before we get started
0:16
please make sure you like comment share

out JD Vance sent out a tweet that went
0:43
crazy on X I shouldn't say tweet I don't
0:46
know what they called in there I guess
0:47
just a post on X that went crazy and he
0:50
said he was going to skip the
0:53
inauguration because I get this his team
0:57
is in the college national championship
1:00
game on the same day as the inauguration
1:04
of course the game will be held much
1:06
later at night but that's when all the
1:08
inaugural balls are of course the vice
1:11
president-elect was kidding and I found
1:13
it rather amusing it was a funny joke
1:16
but it still set everything on fire
1:18
people were you know commenting like
1:19
crazy and if you go on his X page it's
1:21
still there but then he appeared on Fox
1:25
News Sunday and on Fox News Sunday he
1:29
was even more hilarious about it really
1:32
he said you know if you guys can push
1:33
the national championship game off just
1:35
like one day you know let me get
1:37
inaugurated it and then you know I can
1:38
watch the game he's like I don't want to
1:40
be seen at the balls you know the the
1:44
inauguration balls the inaugural balls
1:46
you know staring at my phone right
1:47
looking looking at my phone the whole
1:49
time going you know what's going on with
1:52
the game now he's of course rooting for
1:54
Ohio I will be cheering for Notre Dame
1:58
uh cuz I really like their coach a lot
2:00
great guy you know it seems to me to be
2:03
a conservative but if he's not it
2:04
doesn't really matter he's a Christian
2:06
man and a really good man and uh he
2:09
slapped down some woke nonsense last
2:11
week so you know go Notre Dame I'm not a
2:14
big college football fan but that guy
2:17
won my support very tough to not cheer
2:19
for
2:20
him and is coach Freeman by the way and
2:23
so you know but I found JD Vance's
2:26
interview with this part of it funny
2:27
there was some other very very serious
2:29
parts of the interview and we'll get to
2:30
that in another video later on today but
2:33
I want you to check this out have a
2:35
laugh and let me know what you think in
2:36
the comments incredible natural
2:38
resources are developed and that's what
2:40
Donald Trump is is is good at he's good
2:42
at making deals and I think there's a
2:43
deal to be made in Greenland okay
2:45
quickly uh your Buckey made it into the
2:47
National Championship it's the same day
2:48
as the inauguration you sparked a lot of
2:51
backlash with your tweet that maybe
2:53
you're going to skip the inauguration to
2:54
go to the National Championship is there
2:56
some kind of executive power to move the
2:57
game what's the plan uh trust me I've
2:59
asked a cently not uh I I assure you
3:01
that was a joke I will be there doing my
3:03
constitutional Duty and swearing in as
3:06
the 50th Vice President of the United
3:08
States but man I really wish they could
3:09
move the game until Tuesday and so if
3:11
you're watching the show and you have
3:13
the power I'd really like to watch the
3:14
Buckeyes and I don't want to be at the
3:16
inaugural ball like staring at my phone
3:18
because we're watching Ohio State versus
3:20
Notre Dame so let's move that game but
3:23
if not I'll be rooting for their Buckey
3:24
and spirit I feel like we're going to
3:26
get that shot of you at the balls um Mr
3:28
Vice President elect thank you always
3:29
for coming by thank you good to see you
3:32
so president Trump aiming for some major
3:34
legislative wins end quickly well
3:36
Senator Shelley morao hosted his meeting
3:38
with Senate Republicans this week
