Schiff Has Meltdown After Trump And McCarthy Make Deal

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and Adam Schiff

is furious. He is in meltdown mode, folks, having a temper tantrum because the House and the House Speaker

well, they just might have done something that will erase Adam Schiff from the history

books and benefit former President Donald Trump. Let's take a look at it

Those little things, they really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow

So Adam Schiff went on Twitter and just had an absolute tantrum saying, it's not fair

this is nonsense, we're going to stop this, even though he can't

We're never going to allow this to happen, even though there's nothing he can do. Why

Because Elise Stefanik, along with Marjorie Taylor Greene, introduced a resolution to

the House that would expunge President Donald Trump's two impeachments. Both of them, stricken from the record, stricken from the history books, gone, washed away

done, like they never even happened. So when they call him a twice impeached president, it would actually be a zero times impeached president

Now the House, we believe, has the authority to do this because the House was the prosecutor

in the impeachments. That's how it works. The House acts as the prosecutor, the Senate acts as the jury, the Vice President acts

as the judge, and so on and so forth. So we believe the House has the authority to do it

McCarthy believes the House has the authority to do it. Some people are questioning the constitutionality of it, but McCarthy raises great points

He raised all the points about Joe Biden, the IRS whistleblower, the schemes with Hunter

Biden, all of the things, the southern border, all the things that surround Joe Biden

And he said, if we use the Democrat standard of impeachment, Joe Biden would have been

impeached already. He said the call that Trump had with the Ukrainian president did not merit impeachment

It was just a call between two world leaders. There was no quid pro quo on that call

And I defy you to find it. I defy you to find it in the call. I've read the transcript several times

I'm sure some of you have read the transcript. Where's the quid pro quo

Where is it? Because that's what it was based on. That's what the whole impeachment was based on

So where is it? They couldn't prove it to the Senate. Did they prove it to you

And then the second impeachment was based on January 6th. January 6th, after the president of the United States, who was at that time Donald Trump

told the people to protest peacefully and then told them to go home when they were not

protesting peacefully. But he couldn't physically go there and start dragging people away

And so what Kevin McCarthy is saying is these two impeachments are based on utter nonsense

They were a political weapon to use against former President Donald Trump and as such

should be stricken from the record. Of course, Democrats are going to hate this

They love calling him the twice impeached president. They hate this man

They want him to have this hanging over him forever. But McCarthy, if he has a stiff backbone this time, should stick with this

This is something I think you can get the entire House behind. This is something that I think should be done because this man, I believe, McCarthy

says he believes, you have Marjorie Taylor Greene and Elise Stefanik, they say they believe

it, was prosecuted unfairly. Unfairly. Would the impeachments against him been brought against anyone else in the same situation

If the answer to that is no, then expunging them is the proper thing to do
