0:32
the Democrats put on an absolute clown
0:35
show today an absolute clown show in the
0:39
RFK hearings to me it looked like a
0:42
bunch of
0:44
teenagers just having somebody and you
0:46
hold them there and they're just hitting
0:48
them and hitting them and hitting them
0:49
and hitting them and my opinion they
0:52
didn't lay a glove on them now before
0:55
and right before he headed into those
0:58
hearings CNN did a piece where it showed
1:01
that his his support for being HHS
1:04
secretary has come down a little bit so
1:07
why is that fantastic news you ask I'll
1:09
tell you why because the odds of him
1:11
being confirmed are still way over
1:14
70% and I would submit to you that after
1:19
today's hearing after the ridiculous
1:21
show that the Democrats put
1:24
on he's all but confirmed any Republican
1:29
that was on the fence
1:31
after seeing the garbage that the
1:34
Democrats pulled
1:35
today they're going to be a yes vote and
1:38
that that's the best news RFK JR could
1:40
have hoped for I do want you to watch
1:43
this piece showing his support it came
1:45
down a little bit and they're trying to
1:46
make it a bigger deal than it is it's
1:48
still very high that's the key takeaway
1:50
here don't let them fool you I want you
1:52
to watch this and let me know what you
1:53
think in the comments his nomination and
1:56
Confirmation CNN's Harry Anton is here
1:58
to take a look at the number of we about
2:02
his nomination about his chances what
2:04
are you hearing yeah what what am I
2:06
saying you know we looked at the betting
2:07
markets a lot with this the different
2:10
nominations right and this is the chance
2:12
that RFK Jr gets confirmed as HHA
2:14
secretary you see at this particular
2:16
point it's 74% it's still high but you
2:18
know there's a 25% or 26% chance that he
2:21
doesn't get confirmed this is not a
2:23
gimme this is not a shoen you know this
2:25
is not like Christy no right when she
2:27
got confirmed these are not the same
2:28
numbers and I'll not more than that
2:30
right this is down this is down from a
2:32
week ago when it was 82% when it was
2:34
more than a 4 and five chance now we're
2:35
down to a roughly three and four chance
2:37
so yeah RFK Jr is the favorite to become
2:41
the next HHS secretary but it's not a
2:43
foregone conclusion a lot of it will
2:45
depend on what happens during these
2:47
confirmation hearings here today and you
2:49
do wonder if this also shows people
2:51
starting to pay more attention I think
2:52
so I think people are starting to pay a
2:54
little bit more attention that honeymoon
2:55
period that Trump had after of course he
2:57
was sworn into the White House as kind
2:59
of wearing a little little bit down and
3:00
so maybe his picks get a little bit
3:02
lower of a chance to in fact get you
3:03
think that this HHS confirmation is a
3:06
little more unpredictable than others
3:08
why why is it well you know I went back
3:10
through history and I was interested
3:12
different parties the HH secretary and
3:15
the president since Health and Human
3:16
Services became a department there were
3:18
zero there have been zero pre RFK Jr if
3:21
RFK Jr is in fact confirmed he'd be the
3:23
first to be a different party than the
3:25
president who in fact nominated him and
3:27
why is that so interesting because the
3:28
HHS secretary has some say over you know
3:31
abortion in this country abortion policy
3:33
in this country and we know that the
3:35
majority of trump voters are against
3:37
abortion so that's going to be one of
3:39
the interesting things to sort of focus
3:40
in on right does RFK Jr in fact get all
3:43
the Republicans if he does of course he
3:45
gets confirmed but maybe his past views
3:47
on abortion how he answers those
3:49
questions on how the health and human
3:51
services department will deal with
3:53
abortion will in fact perhaps persuade
3:55
some Republicans not to vote for him and
3:56
the last thing I'll sort of point out
3:58
here Kate this is perhaps the reason why
4:00
I don't necessarily think there going to
4:01
be that many Republicans who get
