0:32
helps us out acasio Cortez is one for
0:36
the dramatic oh she loves the dramatic
0:39
she may be the most dramatic person in
0:42
Congress and I'm talking about a
0:43
Congress that has Jasmine Crockett
0:45
Maxine Waters you know even on the
0:48
Republican side we have Marjorie Taylor
0:50
green we have a lot of dramatic people
0:53
but none reach the level of
0:55
drama that AIO Cortez reaches now she
0:59
was really furious with a new bill that
1:01
Republicans passed about you know women
1:05
and men and gender issues and I
1:08
understand I understand this is a big
1:11
topic for a lot of
1:12
people that's not what I'm here to talk
1:15
about I'm here to talk about how off the
1:17
rails AIO Cortez went and talking about
1:20
well I can't say it because I'll get in
1:23
trouble but she can say it so I want you
1:26
to listen to How really off the rails
1:28
and dramatic this was and then let me
1:30
know what you think in the comments
1:32
thank you so much Madam chair Madam
1:34
ranking member here we are today
1:38
Republicans who have voted against
1:41
consistently against the violence
1:43
against women act who have taken away
1:46
the right of all women to choose and
1:49
have control over their own body who as
1:54
women are bleeding out in parking lots
1:57
across the country stand there allowing
2:01
us to die now want to pretend today that
2:05
they care about women and why to open up
2:10
gender and yes genital examinations into
2:14
little girls in this country in the
2:17
so-called name of attacking trans girls
2:21
and to that today what we have to say
2:24
are two words not today the majority
2:29
right now says there's no no place in
2:30
this bill that says it opens up for
2:32
genitor genital examinations well here's
2:35
the thing there's no enforcement
2:38
mechanism in this bill and when there is
2:40
no enforcement mechanism you open the
2:43
door to every enforcement
2:45
mechanism trans girls are
2:49
girls and for all the folks that are so
2:52
concerned thank you for your concern
2:53
about women for the first time that I've
2:55
seen I don't know about y'all I don't
2:58
know who's been to gym class lately but
3:00
girls even if you only believe in two
3:02
genders I've played co-ed Sports all the
3:05
time but what this also opens the door
3:08
for is for women to try to perform a
3:11
very specific kind of femininity for the
3:14
very kind of men who are drafting this
3:16
bill and to open up questioning of who
3:20
is a woman because of how we look how we
3:22
present ourselves and yes what we choose
3:25
to do with our bodies I know who loves
3:27
this Bill yes bigoted folks love this
3:31
bill assaulters love this bill but also
3:35
CEOs love this bill because Los Angeles
3:38
is on fire right
3:40
now and this is the number one priority
3:43
majority has thank you and I yield back
3:45
the general woman Reserve
