0:33
Harris wants in the spotlight right now
0:37
besides president-elect Donald
0:39
Trump is Willie Brown her ex-boyfriend
0:42
the man who really helped start her
0:44
career but that's exactly what has
0:46
happened Mr Brown spoke out about the
0:48
mistakes that were made for this
0:50
election and why Harris was defeated by
0:53
Trump but also spoke about other issues
0:56
involving Harris and what he sees in her
0:58
future now this interview is rather long
1:01
I didn't do that I cut it down to a
1:03
short video for you because I want you
1:05
to be able to see it and I want you to
1:07
judge for yourself what you think of
1:08
what he said and how you think Harris is
1:10
going to respond to what he said so I
1:12
want you to listen to him and then
1:14
please let me know what you think in the
1:17
comments they did not go back and say
1:20
how is it we did not succeed with
1:24
Hillary is it possible to elect a woman
1:28
to the president in the United States
1:31
and if that answer from all of the
1:34
processes as questionable then you know
1:37
what you need to do as someone who knows
1:40
Cara Harris how do you think she'll be
1:42
taken this defeat I mean I remember
1:45
hearing so often that Hillary Clinton
1:47
she was traumatized by her defeat for
1:50
years how do you think it's going to be
1:52
dealt with by Cara Harris I don't think
1:54
Miss Harris will have that kind of a
1:57
problem Miss Harris has been in contact
2:00
after contests starting with the
2:02
district attorney of San Francisco
2:05
county moving on to the attorney jalip
2:08
and then to the US Senate and then she
2:11
got of course the vice presidential slot
2:14
this is a person who is focused on being
2:18
an elected official and carrying out all
2:22
the things that she has dreamed in that
2:24
addresses the needs of people she will
2:27
be back she will be back you think well
2:30
can she come back in anything like the
2:32
way the same way in anything like the
2:34
same style and Woody Brown you are a
2:37
veteran politician and you've had lots
2:39
of success in in politics in in San
2:42
Francisco what do you think now of that
2:44
Democrat campaign and the way that it
2:47
seemed to have failed to connect with
2:48
millions of Voters in Middle America
2:51
what did you think of that what was
2:52
wrong well there's no question Democrats
2:56
we Democrats have read the T Le's in
3:00
incorrectly we were so far off and in
3:03
the process of our being so far off we
3:06
took most of the people we rely upon to
3:09
do poing and similar kind of
3:12
measurements of attitudes we took their
3:15
advice and their counsel not one of them
3:18
got it right not one we didn't get it
3:21
right and when K haris said this is
3:25
about addressing the needs of the middle
3:28
class we want to make everything by
3:30
middle class that mean we severed our
3:33
relationship with the Ordinary People
3:36
Democrats have always been the advocates
3:40
for the poor for the downtrodden for the
3:43
those who don't have an equal chance in
3:46
this election we did not pursue that
3:49
religiously and effectively Al tell me
3:53
yeah she
3:55
R she had a 100 days of thereabouts from
3:59
the time she was so designated uh by the
4:03
current president uh Joe Biden and she
4:06
did a hell of a job in the 100 days
4:09
unlike anything anybody else has really
4:12
done but it was not adequate because we
4:16
did not evaluate where our voters really
4:20
are Trump's operation has become the
4:25
spokesperson for the poor working class
