'Mistrial' - Trump Catches Massive Break in NY Civil Case

Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and former

President Donald Trump, well his attorneys just dropped a bomb on the New

York courts and it comes off of a bombshell report about something that

happened. Now what they're saying is this could lead to a mistrial, a mistrial

that would be huge. Before we get started please make sure you like, comment, share

and subscribe. Those little things really help us out and they help our channel

continue to grow. I apologize right at the start for my horrible Donald Trump

impression, but this is serious business. The attorneys for former President Donald Trump went to court and they found out through a Breitbart News

report that the law clerk, the head law clerk for the judge in the New York case

far exceeded her political contributions limit, far exceeded it and it was all to

Democrat causes and Democrat groups and Democrat candidates. Well when they found this out they threatened the judge they were gonna have a mistrial here

they're gonna they're gonna move for a mistrial and the judge freaked out he flipped, totally defending his clerk, he will not have this, he will not have

people attacking his clerk, no your clerk allegedly violated a very significant law she can get disbarred for. I want you to take a look at this

report. Well let's get up to date to find out what's going on in that New York

courtroom for Donald Trump's case. According to one report the judge knew about a 72 page complaint filed with the New York Bar Association against the

judge's top clerk Allison Greenfield who may have violated judicial rules that

prevent officers of the court from making excessive political donations. Allegedly the judge issued the gag order against Trump even though he was

notified of the complaint via email and he has proceeded to find Trump since

then. The corruption is staggering. Is it corruption? Let's find out, let's bring in

Alan Dershowitz, professor emeritus at Harvard Law School, author of the book

War Against the Jews. Alan, is this corruption? Just bring us up to speed

on what's going on in the last couple of days in the court. Well it's again just

part of the whole process of let's get Trump, let's do anything in our power to

make his life legally, legally miserable. Look, gag orders are presumptively unconstitutional. A defendant has the right to speak out particularly if he's

running for president and if he has something that's negative about a law

clerk, hey law clerks are part of the government and government employees are

not immune from criticism. If there have been complaints against a law clerk, it's

perfectly okay to make those complaints public if it's permissible to make

them public under the law and so this is really selective injustice and in

general I would hope that Americans would become very suspicious of gag

orders. They're designed mostly to protect judges and law clerks and people

who work in the judiciary from legitimate criticism and nobody's above the law, nobody's above criticism. Yeah, this judge, some of the things we've

seen and heard him say over the years, it's just it's baffling why he wouldn't

recuse himself. Now if that's not grounds for mistrial, I don't know what is, right

This is obviously a law clerk who's very biased and when you look at the track

record of the judge and who he was appointed by and this and that, you start to wonder can Donald Trump get a fair trial here? I can't say, literally can't say. You

understand, but my feelings are that he can't. Those are my personal, it's my

personal opinion, not stating a fact. I'm just saying I don't believe he can in

this court with this judge and this law clerk and Letitia James, I believe this

is completely set up to to destroy him. I believe all the little chess pieces are

in place just the way they want them. I want to know what you guys think so

please let me know in the comments. Also please remember to Like, Share, and Subscribe. Again, it really helps us out. I'm Carmine Sabia, this is Explained
