hey ladies and gentlemen this is carmind

0:04

0:30
it really helps us
0:32
out Matt Gates you know there was this
0:35
horrible report released about him and
0:38
you have to remember the Biden justice
0:40
department Merrick Garland attorney
0:43
general heard all this evidence decided
0:46
not to prosecute Mr Gates because the
0:47
evidence is weak and
0:49
flimsy it's just accusations there are
0:52
accusations against so many congress
0:55
people well now as everybody's starting
0:58
to say you know they're already given
1:00
hints in Florida the Attorney General
1:02
there that they're not going to touch
1:03
this
1:04
case and of course it appears that the
1:07
Trump justice department is not going to
1:09
touch this case and Gates is not going
1:11
to be punished not going to be punished
1:12
because there's no evidence a crime was
1:14
committed if he committed the crime and
1:16
if evidence come forward that he
1:17
committed these crimes then he should be
1:19
punished but I haven't seen it and I
1:22
seen enough hoaxes that I know I want to
1:25
see evidence Rock Solid evidence and if
1:28
there was not enough evidence for the
1:30
Biden justice department to prosecute
1:33
Matt Gates then that says a ton as far
1:36
as I'm concerned the fact that it
1:39
doesn't appear the Trump Administration
1:40
or Florida are going to prosecute him
1:42
for it well that's a massive gift to him
1:46
right as Christmas time came so Mr Gates
1:50
if you are innocent then I think it's
1:52
fantastic I want you guys to watch this
1:54
video on it and let me know what you
1:55
think in the comments I was not
1:57
surprised by any of this because a lot
1:59
of these allegations have been out there
2:01
already remember the federal government
2:03
investigated this first and they decided
2:05
there wasn't enough proof to move
2:07
forward with criminal charges against a
2:10
sitting congressman and the reason is
2:12
because the two witnesses here had some
2:15
credibility issues number one was Joel
2:17
Greenberg Matt Gates's former wingman
2:20
the tax collector in suol County who's
2:21
sitting in prison right now serving an
2:23
11-year sentence for among other things
2:26
child sex trafficking and the other
2:28
person was the then 17 old girl who lied
2:31
about her age to start a a site on
2:34
seeking arrangements and then is now a
2:37
member of the adult film industry so the
2:39
feds thought that they needed more more
2:42
corroboration they didn't get it so they
2:44
didn't file charges but the house
2:46
continued with the investigation and
2:49
speaker McCarthy his biggest enemy is
2:51
Matt Gates and I have to believe he was
2:53
pulling some of those strings and now
2:54
here we are with this embarrassing
2:56
report about to be released Dave the
2:59
justice Department as you mentioned they
3:00
investigated here they never brought
3:03
charges is that a done deal or is there
3:06
potential for that to be Revisited in
3:09
light of the committee's
3:11
findings I think that if the mer Garland
3:14
justice department decided they would
3:15
not bring charges against Matt Gates
3:17
then the Donald Trump justice department
3:19
certainly won't either especially
3:21
because remember Matt Gates was
3:24
appointed attorney General of the United
3:26
States by Donald Trump until he had to
3:28
withdraw his nomination even after all
3:30
this stuff was out there so no I think
3:33
at the federal level there will not be a
3:35
prosecution of M Gates now it's always
3:36
possible that state prosecutors can
3:38
prosecute gates for the child sex
3:40
trafficking there is no statute
3:43
limitations for that crime but you'd
3:45
have to have solid proof that not only
3:48
did he have sex with the then
3:49
17-year-old girl but that he paid her
3:51
and according to the report that has
3:54
been released at least the part we know
3:56
he paid her $400 in cash not VMO the Mo
4:00
came later so it's going to be much
4:01
harder to prove there was a payment of
4:03
money in exchange for sex so I don't
4:06
anticipate there will be criminal
4:07
charges against Matt Gates but this the
4:08
kind of thing that will live on in the
4:10
court of public opinion and Gates has
4:13
teased running for office again is there
4:15
anything the committee or any other
4:16
lawmakers at this point can do to
4:18
prevent that or get in his way
4:20
somehow only the voters can stop that
4:23
assuming there are no criminal charges
4:25
against Matt Gates then only the voters
4:26
can stop him from running for office
4:28
there was a lot of chatter that he will
4:29
run for governor of my state here in
4:31
Florida in
4:33
2026 he'll have to go through uh some
4:36
other bigname Republicans first and then
4:37
it's it'll be up to whoever Donald Trump
4:39
endorses and now with this report out I
4:41
think it's less likely that Trump
4:43
endorses him he doesn't want to be
4:45
associated with this so uh there's
4:47
nothing to stop him from running for
4:49
higher office if he wants to unless the
4:52
the prosecutors hold him up in court and
4:54
put him in behind bars that could put a
4:56
crimp in his plans but I do not expect
4:58
prosecutors to file charges even after
5:01
this report comes out all right Florida
5:03
State Attorney Dave aronburg thank you
5:05
thank you and
