Hey, ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia 4 Explain America
0:03
and this could be the end of district attorney Fannie Willis's career in Fulton County
0:08
and no, this is no joke. This is real serious business. They actually can remove her
0:15

0:23
So, D.A. Fannie Willis, she's facing an uphill battle with Republicans in her home state of Georgia
0:28
See, many Republicans want it to impeach her, but Brian Kemp kind of poured cold water on that, the Georgia governor
0:36
He poured cold water on that idea for a number of reasons, which he's not incorrect about
0:41
What he's saying is it would be almost impossible to get the Democrats
0:45
and you'd have to get Democrats in Georgia on board with an impeachment in order to get the required numbers
0:50
of representatives and state senators, or state representatives and state senators, to actually have her removed
0:58
So that's most likely not going to happen. However, Brian Kemp did sign a law last year, and that law could be Fannie Willis's nightmare
1:07
Now, this law created something called the Prosecutorial Oversight Committee. Now this committee is tasked with examining prosecutors in the state Like are they doing their job Are they being woke Soros district attorneys that are not doing their job that are letting criminals go that are abusing their power that are not following the law
1:26
And this committee can actually remove a prosecutor. And Republicans on October 1st, when this committee convenes
1:34
have expressed that they have every desire to bring Fannie Willis before this board
1:39
to bring the situation with Fannie Willis before this board. And it's going to be something to see
1:46
Now, Democrats are sounding the alarm. They're screaming from the rooftops that this would basically make this board politicized
1:55
and it would kind of ruin the objectivity of the board and the reputation of the board before it even gets started
2:02
And they were on MSNBC, and they're basically begging this board to not remove Fannie Willis
2:09
as the Republicans want her removed. So it's going to be tough to see
2:14
Now, we know that, you know, it's always going to be tough to remove a prosecutor
2:18
We've seen Ron DeSantis do it in Florida, and if this were Florida, she probably would have been removed already
2:25
But it's Georgia, and they have their own ways to do it. But when he created this law Kemp when he signed it he said that this was for the express purpose of stopping these district attorneys from doing whatever they wanted to do from abusing their power from not prosecuting real crimes Well I think Fannie Willis is guilty of that in my own personal opinion I mean
2:45
there's been a surge in murders in her county. There's been, you know, a lot of crime in Fulton
2:51
County, and it's not getting any better. And Fannie Willis is obsessed with prosecuting Trump
2:57
and 18 other co-defendants for a 2020 election where they actually didn't commit any crimes
3:04
in my opinion, because the electors that they were talking about were never used
3:10
So if they had a plan and the plan didn't come to fruition, what are you prosecuting
3:14
I still don't understand this. Again, not a legal expert, not an attorney
3:19
So maybe this just is beyond my understanding. But I don't understand how you have a prosecution
3:27
when the crime didn't actually happen. If it is a crime, then it was in the planning stages
3:32
but it didn't actually happen. So if you don't have a crime that went to completion
3:38
how do you have a case? I personally think that Fannie Willis is abusing her authority
3:42
She's fundraising off of this prosecution, and that why Jim Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee has presented her with questions and they want to talk to her So this is all kinds of nonsense happening here from Fannie Willis from her end that I think is political
3:59
That is my opinion. And I believe all of this is political
4:04
I think this is all about making Fannie Willis a liberal star, making her get reelected as district attorney and maybe someday governor of Georgia
4:13
So I think, again, I think this is all about her and not really about prosecuting crime
4:18
If she wanted to prosecute crimes, there's plenty in her county, plenty that are actually affecting the people of her county
4:26
This is a federal case, in my opinion, and Jack Smith has already levied many of these charges
4:32
This just seems like an exercise in futility, a vanity project, and something for her career
4:38
But I want to know what you think about it. Do you think she should be removed? Do you think she can be removed
4:44
Do you think she's doing this for political purposes? Let me know in the comments
4:48
