Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Kamala Harris
0:05
which she said after the massacre in Georgia at that school, she should be ashamed of herself

Yesterday, a tragedy occurred in this country and a tragedy occurred in the state of Georgia
0:45
A school was shot up again. Students, 14 year old students, two beautiful, precious 14 year old students gone
0:57
Two teachers gave their lives to protect their students. And one 14 year old boy with a heart of pure evil caused it all
1:11
I'm here to tell you ladies and gentlemen that evil exists in this world. Don't turn a blind eye to it. Don't talk about psychology and his home life and what video games did he play and what news did he watch and what music did he listen to
1:23
Sure, those are all factors. But we've all played video games, listened to music, watched TV
1:29
There's firearms readily available in America. They have been since our founding
1:35
This is a new trend. It's a copycat crime. That's what's happening. It's a copycat crime since Columbine
1:41
But what you have to understand is it's not the music, the firearms, the movies, the television shows
1:47
It's the fact that evil exists in this world. Plain and simple
1:54
And we have to stop pretending it doesn't. Crazy exists in this world and we have to stop pretending that it doesn't
2:01
We do so to our own detriment. Not every kid is the same. Not every human being is the same
2:07
There are things that people you know would do that you wouldn't even think of doing. I know because it's the same for me. It's the same for everybody
2:16
So Kamala Harris, what did she do after the massacre? She immediately, in her speech, politicized it. Immediately made it about politics
2:28
The bodies of the kids still in the school and she made it about politics
2:34
And then I'm going to take you back. Because see, lives were saved yesterday because of a brave school resource officer
2:42
who stepped in, confronted the gunman, and the gunman surrendered. These are the same school resource officers that Kamala Harris wants to take out of your kids' and grandkids' schools
2:57
How do I know? Well, she's on video saying it. I want you to take a look at this video. It's a compilation. Two different videos
3:06
One shows what she said yesterday. One shows what she said in 2019. She's a horrible person. Not horrible because she's evil. I don't think she's evil
3:16
But because she'll do anything to get votes and she'll say anything to get votes. And that includes putting children's lives in danger
3:23
Watch this video and please let me know what you think in the comments. So before I begin, I do want to say a few words about this tragic shooting that took place this morning in Winder, Georgia
3:36
We're still gathering information about what happened. But we know that there were multiple fatalities and injuries
3:44
And, you know, our hearts are with all the students, the teachers, and their families, of course
3:52
And we are grateful to the first responders and the law enforcement that were on the scene. But this is just a senseless tragedy, on top of so many senseless tragedies
4:01
And it's just outrageous that every day in our country, in the United States of America
4:08
that parents have to send their children to school worried about whether or not their child will come home alive
4:16
It's senseless. We've got to stop it. And we have to end this epidemic of gun violence in our country once and for all
4:25
You know, it doesn't have to be this way. It doesn't have to be this way
4:31
So, again, what we need to do about demilitarizing our schools and taking police officers out of schools
4:41
We need to deal with the reality and speak the truth about the inequities around school discipline
4:50
Where, in particular, black and brown boys are being expelled or suspended
4:58
As young as I've seen, as young as in elementary school. Yeah
