Jim Jordan Drops Massive News On The House Speaker Contest After Secret Vote

Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Jim Jordan, the Ohio

representative that has really been turning heads, well he just gave a massive announcement

So Jim Jordan was defeated in a secret ballot and I guess Republicans thought that would

be the end of hearing about him right? We would be done hearing about Jim Jordan, we would be done hearing about his stance

on the Speakers Race and where he stands on the Speakers Race. But you see people in the Republican Party, you and me, right

The people that vote, we actually care where Jim Jordan stands. And when he lost the vote he actually stood before the cameras and he did I think what

liberals didn't think he would do, I think what a lot of Republicans didn't think he

would do and maybe what even he didn't think he would do before this all started

Let's take a look at it. Well it was, I told the conference it was an honor to be their speaker designee but

I felt it was important that we all know, get an answer to the question if they wanted

me to continue in that role. And so we put the question to them, they made a different decision

I told the conference that I appreciated getting to work with everyone, talk with everyone

I got to know members in our conference that I didn't really know that well over the last

three weeks and that we need to come together and figure out who our speaker is going to be

I'm going to work as hard as I can to help that individual so that we can go help the

American people. And I'm also going to go back to work, we got several depositions lined up next week

in the Judiciary Committee, work that we need to do for the American people in our investigative

work so we'll go back to work there. But it's important we do unite, let's figure out who that individual is, get behind him

and get to work for the American people. Thank you all very much. Do you have any preference of who you want to see as speaker

Excuse me. Personally, I think it's incredible for Jordan to show such maturity

You know, I think a lot of people in our party right now that looks like a circus could actually

learn from him. Because right now it's ridiculous. We're going on three weeks with no speaker of the House

That's absolute insanity. If the Democrats were doing this, we'd be having a field day with them

But it's the Republicans and what? You know what I'm saying? We can't give them a pass

Now Jordan did the right thing here and I trust he's going to vote for the right speaker of the House

And in my opinion, that man's not Tom Emmer. In my opinion, that man's Byron Donalds

That's an America First patriot who Trump likes, who we like, who stands for us

It's about time somebody actually has our interests in mind in a leadership position

Wouldn't that be a novel concept? I want to know what you guys think
