'I'm About To Smack You': Jesse Watters Levels Liberal Co-Host, Leaves Her in Stunned Silence

Jessica Tarlov and Jesse Waters, wow did they get into it on Fox News

So the liberal host of the five, and one of the most conservative hosts, were talking

about the cases against Trump yesterday, in particular, the federal case. And Tarlov was trying to make her case about why it's so serious and why Jesse Waters

and the rest of the crew have to take it so seriously. And of course a federal case is serious

But I think what Jesse was trying to point out was that there's a hypocrisy to it, you

know, now suddenly the things you never cared about, you care about

And then, well, then he threatened to smack Tarlov. Let's take a look at it

A couple of things. So the Presidential Records Act, and Andy McCarthy was talking about this earlier today

it doesn't apply to agency documents. So the way that people are using this to say, I think you said it yesterday, Jesse, oh

you know, he's allowed to do this, he's not allowed to do it. And there are legal experts

No good argument. Yeah, it is a good argument that he's not allowed to have those documents

He can't decide when he declassifies them. He admitted that on tape, which is going to be a huge piece of evidence in this

So stop using the Presidential Records Act. I will use that act whenever I damn well please

I will continue to do it inaccurately. In terms of the. I printed it out

I'll tell you something. Thank God I printed it out, because I'm about to smack you with the act in a second

Let me talk about the Espionage Act. So this isn't classic espionage

Within the Espionage Act, there are a lot of things included. Most importantly, unauthorized retention of documents and obstruction of justice, which

it seems pretty clear that they have them on. And again, legal experts, both sides of the aisle, people who have defended Trump multiple

times like Jonathan Turley, have said, and I said this on Friday as well, that these

are the darlings, what they're looking for in order to have. Is it a sad day

Yes, in one sense. It's always sad, I guess, to see a president in this position

But what's more sad, I think, is that we had a president who did these things

And when everyone says this is unprecedented, the problem is that Donald Trump is doing

things that are unprecedented. And we don't know that these documents weren't compromised

We heard about that there were two intruders, two Chinese national intruders

We know that he waved around a classified document in front of Mark Meadows. Now you care about Chinese nationals

What do you, the amount of deflection that goes on when I say, I say something about

China and you go fang fang, or I say something about this and then you just throw, Hunter Biden's a crack addict

Who cares? Talk about what happened today. Talk about the indictment and don't make up things

Use legal experts. That's a good transition. Jesse, talk about the indictment. I'm glad, but before I get into the act, which I have right here

Okay, so taking the threat aside, what Jesse's saying is correct. Suddenly now you care about Chinese nationals, but when it was Eric Swalwell and fang fang

you didn't care about Chinese nationals. The things you care about, they seem to be determined by who you support

And if you don't support them, you care. And if you do support them, oh, it's no big deal

So Jesse kind of nailed this and, you know, I mean, he always does

Tarlov, of course, is just an annoying person. You know, she's, I don't know why they have her there really

Honestly, you don't see MSNBC having somebody like her on. You don't see CNN having somebody like her on, but from the Republican side, you don't

see that happen. You only see it on Fox for some reason. They have this doctrine of fairness

I don't get it, but whatever the case may be, folks, it was great to watch him kind

of tear her down. And you know, he's right. At the end of the day, he's correct
