0:36
they're not taking this well guys I um
0:39
I'm a mainstream media Watcher for my
0:40
job right I have to and the more I watch
0:44
the more I see these people they're
0:47
trying to hide their emotions but
0:49
they're
0:50
unhinged they are not okay these are our
0:53
friends and neighbors and we should
0:55
reach out we should reach out with our
0:58
hands to them in their moment of need
1:00
and take our hand and then point our
1:02
finger at them and laugh and laugh and
1:05
laugh and laugh because this is
1:08
hilarious guys it's hilarious look I'm a
1:11
pretty nice guy and I I like to think
1:14
that I'm the kind of guy that that has
1:17
empathy but these people are being
1:20
ridiculous it's an election get over it
1:23
well Bill Weir of CNN he can't get over
1:27
it and he says oh he says
1:31
that the nation well the climate I
1:34
should say is going to go to
1:36
hell with Donald Trump as president now
1:39
I want to remind you guys before you
1:40
hear this that the United States is one
1:43
of the cleanest countries on the planet
1:45
in terms of carbon in terms of all the
1:47
things these people are screeching about
1:49
China India they weren't going to change
1:53
their carbon emissions no matter who the
1:54
president was in fact the only president
1:57
that might be able to put enough
1:58
pressure on them is Trump cuz Biden
2:00
didn't do a dang thing he's fixing our
2:03
problem we don't have a problem we're a
2:05
pretty green country you know our
2:09
negligible impact if you take away cars
2:12
and this it's negligible compared to the
2:14
pollutants that China and India and
2:17
Pakistan and these developing countries
2:19
are putting out every single
2:21
day but these liberals they want you to
2:23
believe it's all us now I'm not going to
2:26
get into the whole climate change thing
2:28
here that's a taboo topic on YouTube I'm
2:30
sure you can guess my feelings on it but
2:33
even if you're an Ardent climate change
2:37
believer we're not the problem it's not
2:40
us it's other countries that are the
2:43
problem I'm not saying we don't have
2:45
something that you know that we're
2:46
contributing but compared to a lot of
2:47
these other countries it's not us I want
2:51
you to listen to what this guy has to
2:52
say watch his mental breakdown and then
2:55
of course let me know what you think in
2:56
the comments these wildfires are just
2:59
the latest in a slew of unprecedented
3:01
severe weather events including as you
3:04
remember back-to-back hurricanes extreme
3:06
heat president-elect Donald Trump as a
3:08
known climate denier vowing to pull the
3:10
us out of the Paris climate Accord a
3:13
second time his election comes on the
3:14
heels of startling new data showing the
3:16
worsening effects of delaying action
3:19
against climate change CNN's Bill Weir
3:21
is joining us now what what could a
3:23
second Trump um you know Administration
3:26
mean for the for the planet which is a
3:29
huge question it is a very big question
3:31
at such a vital time science says these
3:33
next 5 years are everything when it
3:36
comes to winding down the fuels that
3:37
burn replacing them with the Abundant
3:39
clean energy of the sun and the sky uh
3:42
but he wants to roll it all back if the
3:44
first term was any indication uh he will
3:46
gut all environmental regulations uh
3:49
give oil and gas producers sort of card
3:51
blanch as he promised there as well
3:53
it'll be interesting to see how much he
3:55
can claw back of the inflation reduction
3:56
act because a lot of that money is going
3:58
into Republican districts over 75% of it
4:01
uh right now but this is really the Crux
4:04
of it take a look at this temperature uh
4:06
chart Sarah this year 2024 according to
4:08
cernus the European space Union will
4:11
shatter all records being the warmest
4:13
ever and it's the first year where we
4:15
blown past the 1.5 degrees Cel or 3 Dees
4:18
Fahrenheit limit of the of the Paris
4:20
climate Accords every country in the
4:21
world says we're going to try to hold
4:23
the line at 1.5 and now we're here just
4:27
as maybe the most notorious climate Den
4:29
IR in history takes power once again um
4:32
it is concerning to a lot of people
4:34
young people have talked about this
4:36
quite a bit um what what does this tell
4:38
us about what we will see I mean
4:39
temperatures hottest ever this year
4:42
right right and it's all the knockoff
4:44
effects there a new report out that
4:45
insurance losses in the last decade 50%
4:48
higher than the decade before it's
4:49
changing property values and building
4:51
codes and immigrant streams and Supply
4:53
chains all of this is happening in real
4:55
time so you have to adapt to the pain
4:57
that's already built in while trying to
4:59
mitigate
5:00
uh the price of it right now and then
5:01
there's Disaster Response which we saw
5:04
the very different approaches under the
5:05
Trump and Biden Administration as to who
5:07
gets the aid sometimes it's a political
5:09
favor under Trump uh so all of this has
5:12
folks in the climate environmental space
5:15
very very worried
