Hey, ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America
0:04
and Fannie Willis just got devastating news from the judge in the Trump case in Georgia
0:10
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe

Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow. So, as you know, Fannie Willis is embroiled in a scandal, actually several scandals
0:23
but this one is about her relationship with Nathan Wade, a prosecutor, with no RICO
0:30
experience who works under her who was paid in excess of $600,000
0:36
Now, Mr. Wade also used his personal funds, which we assume came from his salary
0:40
to take Ms. Willis on vacation and buy her expensive gifts. This creates a huge conflict of interest
0:47
The judge has set a hearing for it, and she may actually get disqualified from the case
0:53
And that would set up a whole precedent where Trump, or a scenario where Trump could actually
0:57
have this thing delayed until after the election. I want you to watch this report on it and then give me your thoughts

We love you guys. God bless you Take care everybody Can you set the table for us Bano Hey good morning Brian Well an evidentiary hearing is scheduled to begin on Thursday and we could see Fulton County District Attorney Fonny Willis testify in her own defense
1:25
The presiding judge appeared willing to allow testimony from some of the witnesses that the defense subpoenaed
1:31
This is a blow for Willis, who could be disqualified from the election interference case
1:35
She's overseeing against former President Trump and others in Georgia. One of the key issues here is whether Willis financially benefited in her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she hired to help leave the case
1:49
Court documents show Wade billed taxpayer $654,000 since January 22. Fawn County Judge Scott McAfee says, specifically looking at defendant Roman's motion, it alleges a personal relationship that resulted in a financial benefit to the district attorney
2:06
And that is no longer a matter of complete speculation. The state has admitted a relationship existed
2:12
and so what remains to be proven is the existence and extent of any financial benefit
2:18
Willis has admitted to having a personal relationship with Wade but denies a conflict of interest
2:23
Terrence Bradley Wade former law partner will testify first on Thursday Willis father is also expected to testify remotely from California Ainsley All right Madeline thank you so much Well here to react to that story Thank you Fox News contributor and former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy Hey Andy thanks for joining us
2:40
Hi, Aisley. Hi. So what happens if they are disqualified? It sounds like this judge, the Supreme
2:45
judge, is going to disqualify them, or there is grounds for that. Anyone you talk to can't believe
2:50
that this is actually happening. So if they're disqualified, who gets this case now? And how could
2:55
that affect Donald Trump? Well, you know, it depends Ainsley on whether you make the leap from
3:03
there needs to be a disqualification to that the disqualification may somehow have corrupted
3:10
the fundamental or instigation of the investigation and the case. If they can get to that point
3:17
they have a chance to get the indictment dismissed. That's a heavy lift. So probably the case
3:23
goes to subordinate prosecutors in the office. It's important to remember she's already
3:28
disqualified from prosecuting one person in the case because of ethical violations during the
3:34
investigation. So this isn't her first rodeo. Okay So if it goes to a subordinate prosecutor in her office we probably know how they feel about this Would it delay Would this happen after the election Yeah well you know it hard to make any assessment of that because there no trial date here And this really isn
3:53
there's other litigation going on where you have one defendant, I think it's Mark Meadows
3:58
who's still trying to get the case moved into federal court. They still haven't had like the
4:03
major motions in the case. Four people have pled guilty, but they've pled guilty to very minor
4:08
charges. And I think that underscores what a lot of us have been saying from the beginning
4:13
which is that this case should have been brought, if at all, as a series of small cases
4:19
And she tried to wrap it into this big RICO. And now the allegation is, did she do that
4:25
in order to churn the enterprise of bringing this case so that it would generate more
4:32
money since she, this is the allegation, was indirectly the recipient of the money
4:38
through the people she hired. Yeah, through the vacations and all of that, allegedly
4:42
with her alleged boyfriend, Mr. Wade. Okay, what about Donald Trump asking the Supreme Court to
4:47
intervene? He's claiming absolute immunity. Yeah, well, I think that, you know, the interesting thing
