Dirty Backroom Deal That Stopped Jordan From Becoming Speaker Exposed - Conservatives Furious

votes days in a row have yielded no speaker of the house and now we may know why and it

looks like it is a Democrat and Republican uniparty scheme to stick it to Jim Jordan

and get somebody else in there that is not really a strong Republican

Now one congressman on the Republican side decided that he had to blow the whistle on

what's going on behind closed doors. That he had to reveal the secret plan he believes and has heard of and he's in a position to

know to get around Jim Jordan and to get some middle of the road Republican in name only

into the speaker's chair and move legislation forward that the Democrats support basically

and the RINOs support. Let's take a look at this. A new proposal though is gaining some steam to empower Patrick McHenry of North Carolina

Yes, as a compromise candidate that some Democrats and Republicans could actually accept

Joining me now is Congressman James Comer, House Oversight Committee Chair. Congressman, according to Axios, Democrats are warm to this idea

What the heck is going on up there and how did this end up being a good thing, given

his views on China investment by U.S. companies? It's the best deal for America is Jim Jordan

I voted for Jim Jordan today. I'm going to vote for him tomorrow

The Democrats' worst nightmare would be a Speaker Jim Jordan. So any candidate that the Democrats prefer probably isn't in the best interest of most

conservative taxpaying Americans. So we're going to keep fighting for Jim Jordan

But again, this highlights the mistake that Matt Gaetz and those seven other Republicans

made putting us in this position. They worked with every Democrat in here to create this chaos

And we've got to get a speaker. I hope Jim Jordan's our candidate

If not, we're going to have to go back to the drawing board and try to find someone

that is a strong conservative that can that can lead us and do something about runaway

spending here in this town. Yeah, well, they could never answer. They take it all personally

Our question when this happened that night, Congressman, is explain again how you're going

to get someone better than Kevin McCarthy, given the fact that you don't have the votes

And there was never an answer to that. There was like a strategy missing, missing an action strategy. Yeah

No plan B. No alternative plan. Their goal and objective was to get rid of Kevin McCarthy

They had to work with 220 or 210 Democrats to do that

And here we are, three and a half weeks without a speaker. Hopefully Jim Jordan will get the votes tomorrow

This would make complete sense if this is what's going on behind closed doors for Republicans

Now we're looking at more than 20 of them going against Jim Jordan

What's the reason for that? Why would you vote against your own party's interests? Why would you let Hakeem Jeffries walk around out of that vote with more votes than your

own party member? It makes no sense unless you have an alternate plan
