Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and it looks like
0:04
Ron DeSantis is finally opening his eyes to what everybody else has seen
0:10
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe
0:14
Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
You're not going to find a bigger Ron DeSantis fan than me
0:23
I love Ron DeSantis. I think he is one of the top two governors in the country, if not number one
0:30
Tim and Greg Abbott, they're neck and neck, and I would give the edge to DeSantis
0:34
Love those two guys. I think DeSantis is a future president, I really do
0:39
But it's not this year. I want him to keep his hopes alive for 2028 and beyond
0:44
I want him to do that, and I want him to do that by doing the right thing, which is getting
0:48
out of this race and endorsing former President Donald Trump. It's the only way
0:54
And I didn't know how long he would keep this up, but now word has broken that he's pulled
0:59
all campaign ads from New Hampshire, from South Carolina, and other primary states
1:05
which looks like it's the beginning of the end. And then he said something very interesting about New Hampshire
1:12
He admitted that Donald Trump is, quote, running away with it, end quote
1:17
Running away with it. And he turned his focus on Haley. It almost sounded, it wasn't an endorsement, but it almost sounded like an endorsement
1:25
of Trump. When you hear it, I believe that after New Hampshire, DeSantis gets out of this race
1:33
Maybe he stays in until South Carolina just to beat Nikki Haley
1:37
But I think he gets out of this race either after New Hampshire or after South Carolina
1:41
and fully endorses Trump. I want to know what you think about it, and I want to know what you think about what he
1:45
said here in this interview that I'm going to play for you right now
1:49
So please remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe, guys. It really helps us out
1:53
I'm Carmine Sabia for Explain America. We love you guys. God bless you
1:58
Take care, everybody. Questions from voters in New Hampshire this week, then the other two candidates combined
2:05
and I'm going to do more tonight. All right. Of course, Donald Trump, you know, leads her by less than he leads you
2:12
He leads you by a country, by an island. You're quite right, Governor. Polls change and conditions change and who knows what can happen
2:18
But I do notice just from the ads and the campaign that Donald Trump is waging, his
2:23
attacks are almost solely focused on Nikki Haley and not you. He doesn't even mention you
2:29
It's like you're invisible. Well, I mean, I don't think he's mentioned anybody more than me over the last year
2:37
That's been constant. But I do think Haley has spent a massive amount of money here
2:42
She's trying to appeal to liberal voters who are allowed to vote in this primary
2:47
You don't have to be a registered Republican. If you're unenrolled, you can do it. And so she has a big time campaign doing that, just like in Iowa, she focused on getting
2:56
Democrats, liberal voters to come caucus for her. So she's doing that
3:00
So I think that she's performed better in polls than she would if it was just a normal
3:05
Republican primary. So I do think they're seeing that. But I think she's just I think a lot of it's a factor of her dumping so much money into
3:12
the state. I think an unprecedented amount of money for that. And so so you obviously are going to see numbers with that
3:19
But I think her problem is, is is Trump will run away with it in New Hampshire
3:23
I think that that's pretty clear at this point. He's got the momentum from Iowa
3:28
And I don't think anyone thinks that she can beat Trump in her home state of South Carolina
3:31
He's running away with it right now in South Carolina as well. This Tim Scott endorsement might grease the skids for that
