Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America

And we have a bombshell story coming from the Senate, where the FBI's deputy director was caught with his pants down, so to speak

Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:20
Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn had the FBI's deputy director on the hot seat
0:26
and she started grilling, ladies and gentlemen. She started grilling. She got him backed into a corner about why
0:36
why the FBI would redact information pertaining to 17 audio recordings, two of which belong to Joe Biden, 15 of which belong to Hunter Biden, allegedly
0:49
as they talked to a Burisma executive in what is allegedly a bribery scandal
0:56
where Joe Biden and his family allegedly got $5 million. Did I say allegedly enough
1:04
So she got the FBI's deputy director backed into a corner and he tried giving her platitudes about
1:09
we're the best and we're the greatest and our people are wonderful. She wasn't having it
1:14
And she got him to basically admit what he didn't want to admit. Let's take a look at it
1:18
Why did you decide to conceal the information in that revelation to the House Oversight Committee
1:27
Why did you redact all of that pertaining to the phone calls
1:31
We have exceptional people within the FBI. You're not answering the question
1:36
Why did you redact that information? And they work relentlessly every day to keep this country safe and to protect people
1:42
You chose not to reveal that the calls were there and Senator Grassley found it out anyway
1:47
Is that accurate? With regard to the document. You chose to redact it. Yes or no
1:53
We often redact documents to protect. So you chose to redact the fact that there are 17 voice recordings
2:04
two of those with the now president. You chose to redact that and not to give that to House Oversight
2:12
I have no idea if their voice recordings are not what I will tell you with respect to the document
2:17
The document was redacted to protect the source as everyone knows. Well, then this is a question of life and death potentially
2:26
But I think it would be helpful if when you came before
2:30
Now he claims to personally have no knowledge of this redaction, but he goes back to protecting sources and methods
2:36
And I actually get that because this would protect a source, the Burisma executive
2:41
And I understand why they would do it. Still, it is curious that they would redact it from, you know, the Senate
2:49
It's not from the media. This is from the Senate. So her question, is your job really to protect Joe Biden and his family
2:57
or to protect the American people, is a valid question. And I thought she did a great job with it
3:03
I would love to know what you guys think in the comments. How do you think she did
3:07
And is anything going to come of this? Is anybody actually going to ever have to pay for their crimes unless they're named Trump
3:13
Folks, please make sure again that you also in addition to commenting
3:16
like, share and subscribe. We really do appreciate that stuff. Again, I'm Carmine Sabia. This is Explain America
