0:39
out guys look I know you guys heard
0:43
about the preemptive pardons given to
0:45
fouchi and Cheney and shiff and all
0:49
these other
0:50
miscreants and you might not have heard
0:54
that Joe Biden pardoned pretty much his
0:56
entire family 15 minutes before Trump
0:59
took office the thing about these
1:02
pardons though is they're called
1:04
preemptive pardons it's the kind that
1:05
Hunter Biden got it's also the kind
1:08
Richard Nixon
1:09
got here's the thing about it as chip
1:12
Roy chip Roy pointed this out and he
1:16
would
1:18
know preemptive pardons have never been
1:20
tested nobody tested it with Nixon there
1:24
is nowhere in the Constitution that says
1:27
a preemptive pardon is legal it'd be
1:29
like if you're a friend friend of mine
1:30
and I become president and your name
1:33
let's I'm going to call you Jim okay if
1:35
you're a woman I'm sorry pretend it's
1:38
Jamie so you know what I'm just going to
1:40
call you Jamie because that could be a
1:41
girl or a guy's name so Jamie you're a
1:44
friend of mine and I'm president and I'm
1:47
like you know I like Jamie so I'm going
1:50
to issue a pardon that Jamie can do
1:52
whatever Jamie wants to do for the rest
1:55
of Jim's
1:57
life and they're pardoned for it this
1:59
pardon lasts for 880 years for the next
2:01
80 years it's a preemptive
2:03
pardon well that would be
2:06
insane or I say Jamie I know you
2:10
committed a lot of crimes you haven't
2:12
been caught yet but look here's what I'm
2:14
going to do here's a preemptive pardon
2:16
for everything you did ever in your life
2:18
right up until this point that's a
2:21
preemptive pardon you haven't been
2:23
prosecuted there's no case against you
2:25
so it's a preemptive pardon well that's
2:28
never been tested
2:30
and it looks like what Republicans are
2:32
going to do is test this we're going to
2:36
take this to the Supreme Court and we're
2:37
going to find out if it actually is
2:39
constitutional and I know what the
2:40
Democrats are going to say they're going
2:41
to say well Richard Nixon got one well I
2:44
tell you what you do go prosecute
2:46
Richard Nixon now go ahead go make a
2:49
case against Richard Nixon you do that
2:51
but we're going to handle these cases of
2:53
these people who are alive right
2:56
now so I'm not a constitutional scholar
2:59
there's going to be a lot of diff
3:01
different opinions on this although I do
3:02
know a lot about the Constitution
3:04
certainly not a scholar you're going to
3:06
hear a lot of opinions about this but I
3:08
believe we are correct there is nowhere
3:12
in the Constitution of United States of
3:14
America go ahead go get a copy go look
3:16
at it that says a preemptive pardon is
3:18
legal there has to be a crime there has
3:21
to be a case that's my interpretation of
3:24
it that's a lot of people's
3:26
interpretation of it and Chip Roy the
3:28
good representative chip Roy he actually
3:31
is a constitutional
3:32
scholar yeah yeah so we're going to go
3:35
ahead and test this Theory because we
3:38
would have let it go with Hunter Biden
3:39
but then you went and pardon everybody
3:42
no no that's not going to work and now
3:46
yeah now these people that you love so
3:48
dearly they might just be behind bars I
3:51
want to know your guys' opinions on this
3:52
so please let me know in the comments
