Chaos In The House - RFK Jr Delivers Blistering Testimony Scorching Democrats

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America

and RFK Jr. tore the doors off the Democrats in his opening statement before the House of Representatives

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow. So RFK Jr. sat before the House today

and he's still actually testifying as we speak and he was talking about censorship

and he was accusing the government of being involved in levels of censorship

to prevent ideas that they don't want getting out there from getting out there. Now those ideas can vary from political speech to other things

but the general gist was he was saying that you know, Democrats, more than others, were getting involved in this type of political censorship

and he actually went on a screed against the Democrat Party because as you know, he's a Kennedy

He has devoted his life to the party. His whole family has devoted their lives to the party

and now the party turns on him and you know, he wasn't happy about it and it caused quite a stir

I mean, you had Democrats sitting there accusing him of racism and all kinds of other crazy things

that he's never been accused of in his life that suddenly in his old age, as he's running for president on the Democrat ticket against Joe Biden

now all of a sudden he's all these nasty, horrible things they never thought he was

Let's take a look at his testimony. Now, this is at Latterth and many of you signed

Many of my fellow Democrats. I've spent my life in this party. I've devoted my life to the values of this party

This, 102 people signed this. This itself is evidence of the problem that this hearing was convened to address

This is an attempt to censor a censorship hearing. The charges in this, and by the way, censorship is antithetical to our party

It was appalling to my father, to my uncle, to FDR, to Harry Truman, to Thomas Jefferson

as the chairman referred to. It is the basis for democracy. It sets us apart from all of the previous forms of government

We need to be able to talk. And the First Amendment was not written for easy speech

It was written for the speech that nobody likes you for. Now, later on, a representative named Stacey Plaskin actually accused him

of trying to target the Black community with some overt racism and racist tropes

to which Kennedy was on fire. You know, he was totally, totally furious at being, and of course, anybody would be

furious at being accused of such a thing. So the hearing was out of control after a while

And again, as I said, it's still going on as we make this video. So if anything else crazy happens, we're going to bring it to you here at Explain America
