0:01

0:04
supreme court news and this is massive
0:09
before we get started please make sure

subscribe absolutely free it really
0:29
helps us out
0:30
out the Liberals are going crazy since
0:33
Trump won and they're probably correct
0:36
in assuming he's going to appoint one
0:39
two maybe three Supreme Court Justices
0:42
it might become the Supreme Court of
0:44
Trump by the time it's all said and done
0:45
with all the justices he's appointed
0:47
he's very likely going to set
0:49
records um for Supreme Court Justices
0:52
between two terms appoint it by one
0:55
president it's it's Monumental he's
0:57
reshaping the court to be a Maga Court
1:00
to that end liberals have been demanding
1:03
that Justice Sonia Sodor
1:06
retire now she's only I think 70 or
1:10
71 and to ask her to retire to me is
1:14
ridiculous she's still fine she still
1:17
writes beautifully crafted
1:20
descents um I disagree with her on just
1:22
about everything but she's got her
1:24
faculties there's no issues here that
1:26
that I I see that but they want somebody
1:29
Young
1:30
they want to make sure that nothing
1:32
happens that Trump gets to replace
1:36
her now I believe Trump will replace
1:38
Thomas and Alo before he's done I
1:41
believe those two men want to protect
1:42
their legacy they're of an advanced age
1:45
and they will probably do that to make
1:47
sure their legacy is protected and that
1:49
they are replaced by a
1:52
conservative and it'll be hard blow cuz
1:54
I love Justice Thomas And Justice Alo
1:56
but we got to get younger right so and
2:00
he might even replace Roberts who knows
2:02
Roberts is
2:04
69 so if he gets to replace another
2:07
liberal these people are going to go
2:08
crazy crazy you'd have a 7 to2 Supreme
2:12
Court majority you would hear calls to
2:16
pack the Supreme Court immediately but
2:18
Sonia Sodor has given her answer through
2:20
friends that are close to her she's not
2:23
going anywhere that was reported by The
2:25
Wall Street Journal today but I want you
2:27
to watch this report about it and then
2:30
let me know what you think in the
2:31
comments and he's one of those who's
2:33
very publicly saying like we've got a
2:35
major problem to discuss here mhm well
2:37
sh you brought to Supreme Court um or at
2:40
least Pete brought the Supreme Court
2:41
saying you'd be a great Supreme Court
2:43
Justice she would be um I don't know
2:45
that you'll get the nomination in the
2:46
next two months but there might be an
2:47
opening for you to be nominated there is
2:49
rumors out there that many Democrats are
2:52
agonizing and perhaps even pressuring uh
2:54
Joe Biden or first Sonia s mayor to step
2:57
down as a Justice giving Joe Biden the
2:59
opportunity to replace her in the next 2
3:01
months which by the way that timeline
3:03
for confirmation everything we've seen
3:05
this in the past uh but she's 70 and the
3:08
point is they're terrified of trump
3:11
getting another appointment which could
3:13
swing it from a progressive Justice over
3:16
to maybe originalist textualist
3:18
conservative Justice yeah and gosh there
3:21
are so many points of risk in that plan
3:23
of Democrats decide to try to launch it
3:25
first of all sources close to Justice
3:28
sonom telling us that there's been no
3:30
Outreach from any Democratic senators
3:32
from the White House from the hill at
3:33
all to push this with her it it seems
3:36
like it's just more of you know floating
3:37
these leaks to Politico and other places
3:39
to see if it would publicly influence
3:40
her there were people before the
3:42
election though even back in the spring
3:43
who were pressuring her publicly writing
3:45
these pieces saying she should really
3:47
step away she should step down but
3:49
listen the last several times I've seen
3:51
her on the bench she seems completely
3:52
engaged completely healthy she's very
3:54
open about the fact that she deals with
3:56
diabetes she manages that um and people
3:58
close to her say like she's not
4:00
considering going anywhere really quick
4:02
together Shannon you and I could do this
4:03
is it sod mayor Thomas and Alo that are
4:06
in their 70s meaning for four years of a
4:09
trump presidency you'd be focused
4:11
somewhat on those three as potential
4:13
turnover yeah and the chief is 69 if I
4:16
have my birthdays right so you know
4:18
there's kind of a cluster of them but
4:19
still by Supreme Court standards you
4:21
know that's kind of middle age you know
4:23
they can stick around into their 80s or
4:25
90s so
