Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Republican House
0:04
Speaker Mike Johnson has just made an announcement that has sent liberals into a frenzy

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
So Speaker Johnson was talking to reporters when he brought up the January 6th incident
0:25
at the Capitol and releasing the tapes for everybody to see what actually happened
0:30
We've seen part of it and it was abhorrent. The parts we've seen are absolutely abhorrent, there's no excuse for them
0:36
But there's other parts. There's other parts and there's other truths. There's truth that has been hidden from the people according to Johnson
0:44
But what he said about releasing the tapes is interesting and it sent liberals over the edge
0:49
I want you to listen to it, see if you can pick up on it and then we'll talk about it. Let's take a look
0:53
When you released the video tapes, the video from January 6th, you talked about people
0:57
withholding data to advance partisan narratives. What do you think is incorrect about the narrative around that day and what do you think is accurate
1:07
We'd have to be here for a long time for me to unpack that. Look, I think the January 6th committee was a partisan exercise
1:13
They claimed that it was bipartisan, but I think we all recognize that the two Republican
1:18
members that served on that committee had another agenda. I think that what we got was a biased report
1:24
I think they hid some of the important evidence and look, we want the American people to draw
1:30
their own conclusions. I don't think partisan elected officials in Washington should present a narrative and
1:35
expect that it should be seen as the ultimate truth on it when we know that they hid certain elements
1:43
The release of the January 6th tapes was a critical and important exercise
1:47
We want transparency. We should demand that the American people do. We trust, House Republicans trust the American people to draw their own conclusions
1:55
We should not, they should not be dictated by some narrative and accept that as fact. So they can review the tapes themselves
2:01
We're going through a methodical process of releasing them as quickly as we can
2:04
As you know, we have to blur some of the faces of persons who participated in the events
2:10
of that day because we don't want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by
2:15
the DOJ and to have other concerns and problems. So that's a slow process to get it done
2:21
We're working steadily on it. We've hired additional personnel to do that
2:25
And all of those tapes ultimately at the end will be out so everybody can see them and
2:29
draw their own conclusions. Let me go to the back row. Back row. Back row
2:33
Back row. You see, they're furious about blurring the faces because they want the DOJ to get these
2:42
people and if they haven't committed a crime, then why should they be persecuted at work
2:49
by the DOJ, the FBI, by their friends and family, whoever. You know, I heard on a bunch of liberals yesterday talking about, oh, this is crazy
2:59
There's going to be no punishment for these rioters because he's going to blur the faces. Where were you guys during the riots when Trump won the election, Black Lives Matter
3:06
and Antifa and the vice president of the United States who wasn't vice president at the time
3:11
Kamala Harris, setting up a legal defense fund to get them bailed out of prison
3:15
Where were you guys then for rioters being punished? You are such hypocrites
3:21
You are such hypocrites. I want to know what you guys think about this
3:25
Please let me know in the comments. Also, please remember to like, share, and subscribe. It really helps us out
