0:35
out guys the word just came in
0:39
today president Trump for safety reasons
0:43
has had to move his inauguration indoors
0:46
now the weather in Washington DC is set
0:49
to be with a windchill around
0:51
10° and there were fears among the
0:54
people of hypothermia for some of the
0:57
attendees however a lot of specul
1:00
ation is going wild that there was a lot
1:03
of ramped up security for this event and
1:06
now a lot of people are speculating that
1:08
maybe there was more to these safety
1:10
concerns than just the weather me
1:15
personally I don't know what to believe
1:17
I know I believe the official story is
1:19
part of it but I do believe there were
1:22
probably more safety concerns there than
1:23
meets the eye Trump made the decision
1:26
today and he announced it in a lengthy
1:28
post on Truth social
1:30
where he explained the reasons though I
1:33
think I don't know after the
1:35
inauguration I think we're going to find
1:37
out a lot of different
1:39
things about the drones about the people
1:42
who attempted to take his life about the
1:45
cause of the wildfires in California
1:48
about a lot of different things so I
1:51
trust that we'll find out more about
1:53
this maybe it is just the weather but
1:56
with me and I know you guys know this
1:58
I'm always skeptical
2:00
of the official government story I'm
2:02
just always skeptical of it I hate to
2:03
say that but I really am anyway I want
2:07
you guys to watch this report on it and
2:09
let me know what you think in the
2:11
comments will be taking the oath of
2:13
office for the second time and he just
2:16
announced that the inauguration will be
2:19
moved indoors because of the extremely
2:22
cold temperatures expected here in
2:24
Washington on Monday again the
2:27
president-elect just confirming what
2:29
CNN's El and Caitlyn Collins reported
2:32
just a short while ago Elena you are
2:34
with me now for these developments we
2:36
have a very lengthy social media post
2:39
that he released explaining his
2:42
decision that's right I'll just read for
2:45
you some of what he wrote Because as you
2:46
mentioned it is pretty lengthy Dana uh
2:49
Donald Trump just moments ago posted
2:51
quote I have ordered the inauguration
2:53
address in addition to prayers and other
2:55
speeches to be delivered in the United
2:57
States capital rotunda as was used used
3:00
by Ronald Reagan in 1985 also because of
3:03
very cold weather the various
3:05
dignitaries and guests will be brought
3:06
into the capital this will be a very
3:08
beautiful experience for all and
3:11
especially for the large TV audience now
3:14
look Dana when I was talking to um some
3:16
of Donald Trump's advisers people who
3:17
have been familiar uh with this decision
3:20
uh of course this is because of the
3:22
dangerously cold temperatures that are
3:24
expected on Monday and I'm saying
3:26
dangerously cold because remember I mean
3:28
you know this we have covered many
3:29
inaugurations a thousands and thousands
3:31
of people were expected to come and
3:33
stand on the National Mall for hours at
3:35
a time to watch Donald Trump being sworn
3:38
in publicly they recognized that this
3:40
was a major health risk uh to many of
3:43
these people uh but I will also say that
3:45
Donald Trump wants the inauguration to
3:46
be this Global event he has invited
3:48
world leaders some of whom are expected
3:50
to come and attend that swearing in uh
3:52
and as well as other you know major
3:54
leaders from Big Business and tech
3:56
companies um and so this was definitely
3:58
I think something that has been
3:59
disappointing for them they were not
4:00
anticipating this but again they have
4:02
made the decision to move in uh to move
4:05
the inauguration indoors inside the
4:07
Capital retunda One thing as well just
4:09
that I want to note is there are
4:10
questions and discussions that are still
4:12
underway about what to do about some of
4:14
the other festivities including the
4:15
inaugural parade I'm told that um they
4:18
have having some discussions about
4:19
potentially moving some of that into the
4:21
Capital One Arena though that is not
4:22
final just something that they are
4:23
discussing um and also having
4:26
conversations about what to do about
4:27
crowd size so all that is still under
4:30
discussion but Donald Trump and JD Vance
4:33
will be sworn in on Monday inside the
4:35
capital rotunda not outside as is
4:37
tradition Dana yeah and uh Elena we
4:40
literally just got this seconds before
4:42
coming on air at the towards the end
